Got as far as Denis Pagan commenting that we had the players at the club to be successful in his first year. He was right! North faded at the end bowing out in the elimination final against the reigning premiers in west coast but had some inspiring wins against both grand finalists and many more with their champion young skipper becoming the best player in the game. Can't wait to experience those days again hopefully in the not to distant future. Go Roos

Gary Ablett rarely did interviews, so him being interviewed on the "Footy Show" Grand Final eve edition in 1993 rated so well, that it led to the "Footy Show" (which was only on Sunday mornings back then) to be commissioned for a Thursday night, nighttime version which of course, was the "Footy Show", which then became an institution in TV for the next 25 years.

It’s sad that nowadays Bill O’Reilly seems downright reasonable compared to the filth that now lives on Fox News. I lacked the foresight to see how much worse it could get.

I love how Bill presupposes that if everyone just agreed to follow his god that it would automatically solve nearly all the world's problems (stating that we would have "an almost idyllic civilization"). Like that would somehow eliminate greed and those with power wanting to take more from others. I'm pretty sure there have been wars throughout history that have pitted professed christian nations against each other. Calling this statement a "leap in logic", incorrectly assumes there is any actual logic here.
