@@pliyo Best strategy i have heard friend - its my intention as well, will just get summer costumes as - Waifus....and Tifa is getting a new one (they know how to get money from people). Really interested to see how would Vincent fit as DPS vs Cloud, Zack, Seph, Glenn, Tifa. If it is more of the same with different skin will probably skip him. But if they introduce a unique new mechanic for him - then might reconsider.

Well, to be honest, Whiskers is better suited as a back row weapon for Glenn. See, the issue with Glenn is that his main weapon is buffing the party, so all the weapons we use for patk are using 1/2 of their stats. As such, to reach 7, we ideally want 2 weapons instead of 3, to fit Enemy Launch and Ultimatic, as Water ATK weapons have crap stats for physical units (and Glenn is our primary DPS so we need his stats to be high). So, assuming we include Glenn’s new sword, we need another park water weapon. That would have to be Black Whiskers as it is a 54 (62) weapon, to max his patk. Therefore, we now replace its function by spreading it between Glenn’s Axe and Sephiroth’s Sword if we go for full physical DPS, or Tifa’s Feathered Gloves if we go for a Support or hybrid team. Lastly, Zack, if we use him, needs to be support and Tifa or Red is better at it, because Zack does not have an actual Water weapon to hit afterwards and Materia doesn’t cut it. Hence why, Red with Silver Collar or Tifa with Feathered is a better suited unit as support here. The alternative approach if we need a healer, by the way, is to have Sephiroth, Glenn, Cloud team, where Seph and Glenn act as DPS and two halves of Support and Cloud becomes and offensive Healer with Maritime, Crystal Gloves and Grand Gloves on back row to support both functions. But in any case, in all those instances, Black Whiskers will end up being on the back row ;)

We also have silver collar and green megaphone for water resistant down if we want to use black whiskers as a sub weapon for Glenn so this banner is perfectly skippable

Not only we have those, but in contrast to Sephiroth, who has not a suitable weapon for second slot if we go this approach (Military Sword is mid and we waste an r ability slot and Shinra Blade is a mediocre stat stick), Cait Sith with the similar weapon has Marching Horn to buff Glenn. Marching Horn also has buff extension, so paired with his buff gear he can land buffs and debuffs that last.

This one can be main hand weapon, while whiskers are better as off-hand. Sith also has water down wep.

The only difference is Black Whisker is for the debuff not water dmg. Since Glenn and Seph have arcanums and actual water dmg on seph weapon

Yeah power means nothing. At this stage they should tell us (PDEF needed, at least 8k HP, or something around those lines, like maybe I sub title or something)

I feel like they are still missing some key bits: - PvP Leaderboard (a hall of fame so that we remember) - Basic Co-Op chat or interactions - Basic QoS - Bringing outfits back - Etc etc So when I think about putting 1.5k USD in a game, which let’s be honest; it’s a freaking lot of money, then I wanna see that investment lasting longer. Wuthering Waves gives me that, units are forever and their value remain. Reverse1999 is similar as WuWa. Here weapons are forever but the value is sooooo low right now, and the rankings doesn’t have any major incentive as everyone forgets, so I really wanna keep playing but I need to teach myself to be smarter about it Appreciate your support as always, sir!! 🙌🏼

@@pliyo I like both types of rankings. But to get a good result in 3 dungeons took me way longer than finding a good build for one or two of these individual challenges. The daily bonus score also makes it easy to get all the score rewards without spending a lot of stamina. Leveling Leviathan has been the only content (co-op) in a long time that has truly depleted my stamina potions. As for the MH banner... I think the chance of getting a banner weapon should be a little higher. At least with these limited banners. It's far more common to get a wishlist weapon than a banner weapon. And you can't add them to the wishlist again. This makes them even rarer than the anniversary weapons.

@@Seraphina_FF14 I 1000% see your point, I'm starting to like it more the more I play it, it's just unfortunate that the lag is sooo big! And for the chances, I think that in general chances should be higher, like way higher, especially in these limited banners. The investment is huge in comparison to other games, for example: Zidane's Sword used to be epic, and if someone wanted to get OB10 it's at least 1200 USD for a single weapon, while in other gacha that amount of money will last longer I feel, I might be wrong tho!

I'm also not sure if we were offered two weapon tickets and a step-up draw back then. But let's say we need an average of 24K blue crystals to fill a page... With no luck that would be an OP3 with 72K crystals. If a player then purchases the step-up draw and the two weapon tickets for a total of 19K red crystals, that's a guaranteed OP6 for about $120 extra. And from there it's not far to an OP10, as we also get weapon parts from the 24 draws and, with a bit of luck, more copies. But it's "only" $120 for one banner weapon and with 72K blue crystals saved up. With just red crystals, I'd say you'd spend around $500 for an OP10 with all the shop deals we get. = It's not $1200 bad but without the $120 investment it's not really likely to get an OP10 within a year, unless you spend more than 60-70K blue crystals or have a lot of luck. And with the amount of great banners we get, the chances should be higher so players can engage with more banners.

It’s a very good question! I would say save for anniversary, 110 is a good chunk already, but when anniversary drops you are going to need all that! 🙌🏼 also you will have this coming months to invest in either PATK or MATK, this weapon forces you in a path (PATK) that might not be optimal for your account!

Did you pull for silver collar and sephrioth latest wind weapon? My account not day 1 but if you have tifa and aerith like me, they can both duo it with the right gear

@codynoth4183 i beat it with tifa motor drive + ob6 amarant and aerith floral rod + mythril rod setup. It was under 2 min fight , it's somewhere in my list of videos lol. Yea it's still a very annoying boss, and I needed to build both my limit breaks before or it was a wipe

@@tfoserauqsevoli Ahhh yeah I don't have that ob6 amarant sadly and the floral rod is 5 stars at best for me. So it's just a gimmick fight that can't be done without specific gear. Kind of shitty game design.

So far is my fave weapon from all the crossover ones. Probably one of my fave weapons in the whole game!! She only needs a weapon or limit break to remove PATK up or MATK up and she would be unstoppable. But of course it makes sense that she doesn’t have that so other units can have space in the battlefield. Thank you for your comment, sir!! Always super insightful! 🙌🏼

I wouldn’t say it makes clouds weapon obsolete. On the patk buff side yes, but it still has the pdef down which can be helpful depending on what else you’re bringing to the fight, and the r abilities alone are great for cloud. Without glav or zidane sword you don’t have great off hand weapon options for cloud that help boost his overall physical damage or survivability in any situation. at best you’re main handing one elemental weapon and off handing another elemental weapon for the p attack with a wasted second r ability value unless a crisis dungeons needs both of those elements.

Yes soooo! - Electrocannon (Barret), MATK + Mag Ability Potency - Feathered Gloves (Tifa). ATK + Boost Water Pot - Pressure Ridge (Zack). 62 PATK + Ice Pot - Mythril Type 0 (Seph). HP + Mag Ability Pot - Ceremonial Sword (Zack). PATK + Phys Ability Pot In general I’d recommend weapons that would always be useful as sub weapons, for example - Ceremonial Sword from Zack or Ultimatic from Glenn. - Mad Minute from Lucia or Twinkling Star from Zack are extremely useful as well!

A lot has changed since, and now Matt could also be a unit that could help here with Centipede. Barret is still pretty useful, tho!
