I saw a video that said Kittie had a new album coming out. I only had Oracle in my collection. A month later, I had the first five albums (couldn’t get the sixth on CD), and was waiting for Fire. Man, what an album! My favourite Kittie album right now.

when i grew up in the late 90s we called it metallic HC before the term metalcore. But that was in the era when bands like Converge, Morning Again, Shai Hulud, Congress (H8000 band) were simply considered a hardcore band where lyrics were very much important. Which is why i really love Contention as the lyrics are very introspective and meaningful. Lyrics are just as important as the music. But yeah great interview with such an amazing band!! The question at 11.17mins at what is too big? mmmmh i would say look at the band Turmoil. I think they were on a major label at that time but i think as long as it will never be too big as long as the band recognises that they are part of a wider HC community etc.

On the other hand, she could be actually serious, sharing the sentiments of a multitude of people believing vessel ripped one during Atlantic and thinking it was disrespectful of him. I'm on the fence with this one now. She either failed at sarcasm and is completely not funny, or she's under this illusion vessel farted and found it disrespectful.
