I'm just not looking forward to them shoving Cloud and Tifa down our throats in part 3 to to appease fans. I mean the developers would probably get death threats again if they didn't.

in the novel traces of two pasts written by Nojima, he laid it out pretty clearly all the ways Cloud and Tifa don't work, that they don't understand each other. I'm confident Cloud will end up with Aerith somehow in part 3

@@rifway22 I'm Clerith from 97 BUT I gotta say Nojima made it clear that everything wrong with Cloud doesn't make him a partner material. OFC og ending we though Cloud isn't sick anymore but his later material trashes his connection to the world. And Aerith, Nanaki and Vincent are the only ppl that can relate. 'Normal person" Tifa will always make him stand out. While "magic girl" Aerith will make him fit right in.

Então não precisa ficar preocupado fanboy. O jogo foi feito com muito respeito aos fãs, a toda história do FF7 então,.possivelmente vai agradar a todos. Tanto que o encontro com a tifa só ocorre se vc desenvolver a relação deles.

You’re wrong, Cloud and Tifa never become lovers in the end, the 3rd game isn’t even out for you to jump to the conclusion. There are so many clues in the game and even the end that Cloud and Aerith will reunite. Is Aerith really dead? Maybe one timeline she is but lives in another, remember remake/rebirth made a lot of changes compared to the original game and they will make more changes in AC. I can explain why I know they will reunite but it contains spoilers if you didn’t finish the game.

Nah. It’s the other way around. We’re into healthy relationships with chemistry that inspires you to be a better person. Most people take a lot of trial and error to find a good match so it makes sense a lot of you ship Cloud with Tifa.

@@Clerithiscanonyes with the help of Aerith, on the gold saucer date, Aerith tells Cloud she is trying to find him the real him, in the sleepy forest Aerith urges Cloud to find himself the ones she’s been looking for the real him, when he is in the life stream he gets back some of his memory and I would say he is already getting back some of his memory because he remembers Zack. Aerith was the one to break down his walls. In chapter 1, Tifa knew Cloud was lying about being in Nibelheim on a mission with Sephiroth why didn’t she talk to him about it. Tifa did have some part in helping Cloud, but I would also say Aerith help him as well, since she was the one to urge him to find himself the real him. Not Clotis coming on a Aerith video to fight their ship 😂

I feel even if they did it won’t feel natural. Aerith from remake asking him not to love her and choosing to use “like” rather than love while showing all the interest in the world… she’s not being true to herself and she don’t want to be Bsc she knows her fate. I feel the full version of the song. “No promises to keep” says it all about herself.

It would have been out of Character for them to Kiss, the relationship dynamics between Cloud and Aerith are more deeper than physical attraction, it's feelings that cant be easily explained.

Does the argument "they didn't kiss because Cloud isn't the real Cloud yet" make sense? I agree that the feelings they both have for each other are really deep...but not seeing a resolution/kiss or something like that between them in this trilogy for me would be something that would make me very sad... @@wolfwoodgrey224

@@francisco24slb1 I agree with you. While I think that a kiss isn't necessarily required between Cloud and Aerith, it's was a horrible miscalculation to give Tifa the kiss. Even it that kiss felt totally out of place, rushed and out of nowhere, I feel like the devs really made a statement here. Tifa has in part 3 her time to shine. In part 2 Aerith is the heroine of the story. I feel like the devs don't really match her importance to Cloud and the whole story here. She deserved a lot more than having tons of toxic Cloti shippers and disgraceful Aerith haters all over the internet defiling her legacy and denying her being an important, probably the most important part of the story, by attesting her being an unnecessary fifth wheel to Cloud and Tifa. Also I found that Cloud throughout the game acted cold and weird with Aerith, other than in the Remake. In the Remake they had a really sweet and close communication and I don't feel this in Rebirth at all. As an Aerith fan, this game hurt me more than I could have ever expected and I'm really pissed at Square Enix for baiting me to buy this game with cute Aerith dating scenes, while the main event was the Tifa date from the beginning. They have done a huge disservice to one of the sweetest and greatest characters, that they have ever created. I will definitely not buy part 3, unless they manage to do something really unexpected for all Aerith lovers. But I've lost my faith in this company.

Part 3 is going to be worse I'm afraid. They are going to shove Tifa+Cloud down our throats. The wouldn't risk pissing off that fan base again after all the death threats following the trailer.

The game gives so many hints that Cloud and Aerith will reunite in game 3 and it’s not going to have the same ending as advent children.

They even have zack learn that she likes cloud and accept it, have him tell cloud to save aerith, and have cloud and aerith confess to each other(which some people kind of don't understand, but the whole "liking and liking" thing was her saying she likes him romantically

@@xmant8842 You could say they confess to each other also during gondola ride. Cloud shows his true personality here. He's afraid of rejection from her side and you could see how much it costs him mentally just to hold her hand for a couple of seconds. He shows a face saying "Please don't reject me" and is quite afraid of that happening because he thinks Aerith has still feelings for Zack. But Aerith finds true Cloud charming and is definitely happy of seeing the "true Cloud". The date is optional but still. Btw during the dream date she says thank you which probably means I love you or smth like that. It would explain Cloud's reaction.

@@LodyPolskieNarodowe I agree with everything you've said. And if it hasn't been confirmed yet, I think it's safe to say clerith was the canon date of all the optional dates. From what I heard, the creators even basically told people they should do the clerith date. Plus, aerith is the only Rosa to show up in the credits. And when cloud holds her hand, he actually says something after that we couldn't hear it because it was "drowned out by fireworks," but it led to them holding hands tighter. From what I've heard, you're right. In Japanese, the "thank you" can be a romantic declaration like "I love you." I heard something similar happened in another FF game. FFX I believe
