Top 5*😉✌️
Beautiful views and a lovely bike (although I'm bias). Looking to do the same this year myself. I'm really interested in how you have the camera set up to get those really nice lean angle effects. Gained a sub from me ;)
Does this bike have Kawasaki Cornering Management Function. If so, can you break in the corners?
Yes
Fantastic bike
Do you guys realize what you risk by driving at these speeds in Switzerland?
Love the view, great angel.. Where did u put your camera..
Stuck to the tank on a short arm 👍
Nice 1.. keep up bro🎉🎉
Are you running a full system or just a Can? Sounds great..
Just an end can. The mic is pointing at the airbox intake so all induction noise 😎
Cool video, angle, road and bike. You should think about an external microphone for better sound (less wind noise)
Increíble ruta!!! Gracias por subir el vídeo👍🏻
Enjoy your videos. You'er a good rider. But you chop the throttle a bit. Less engine braking , more front brake. Keep up the good work!
Nice ride and nice views. I hope you enjoyed as much as it seems... And, that exhaust, dude! It just sounds amazing.
Danke mann wenn mann schon ned fahren kann haut das jetzt gut rein😁
Good sound, do you use an external microphone?
Yes, plumbed into the air box for induction roar. No matter what I did I couldn't get the right exhaust sound
@@jonrx7uk nice
Very nice...
Hi, great video ! What’s your équipement to have all technical éléments on screen
Using the insta360 camera you have to have the app running on your phone at the same time and it uses the GPS from your phone and stores it in real time on the recording
You like to travel a lot, would you share with us why did you choose a sport touring bike over adventure like for example Africa Twin, or ´road only´ Versys/NT1100? Im asking because i just cant decide myself. Both around 15.000€.
I just prefer the look and sound of a sports tourer. The adventure bikes all look the same and everyone has one these days so It's good to be different. The 1000sx does everything you'd need 👍
@@jonrx7uk Went to the BMW website for the fun of it and i saw that R 1250RS can be bought for under 16.000€ as well 😮, damn.
Fab video. I just got me one of these. I sure cant ride it like you. Maby when I am older. I am only 54))))
😂, I'm 54 this year too!
Good camera angle with the bonus of 360 footage 👍
After passing my test 6 years back I went to a 650 first for a year before upgrading to the SX. The jump up in power is massive 😮
I think this is a common route. I have both bikes on my channel as I bought the ninja 650 for my wife :) so I still get to have fun on that now and then when not riding my z1000sx.
Did you know that in Germany, certain great biking roads in scenic areas have weekend bans on motorcycles. They are called “Quiet days” ie. People have been complaining about the noise of motorcycles using the roads with noisy exhausts. Some of these roads now also have a 50kph speed limit, B500, for example. Noisy, non standard exhausts are playing major part in ruining our freedoms and I just wish people would stick to road legal exhausts with the baffles in. Let’s all go stealth mode and the authorities will then have less pressure on them to “do something about noisy, speeding bikers. Sorry, I know you’ll probably hate this comment, but I can see the writing on the wall and it ain’t a pretty read, sorry.
I agree, all the guys in our group including myself run standard exhausts. On long journeys I can imagine the drone would be unbearable. I have the microphone for the camera in the air box to record the induction noise. 👍
@@jonrx7uk👍🏼
what is the camera?
Insta360 RS one
I’m a beginner riding looking to upgrade my 125. Do you think the sx might be too powerful or heavy for me? I really like everything about the bike
@@shadypoison Literally everything...give it a bit. I would go to a 600 first or wait until you've gotten 10,000-15,000 miles on the current bike...I'm just some random dude on the internet though so...
What exhaust is that? I’ve got Yoshimura and it sounds a lot smoother…
It's induction noise only, the camera mic is in the air box. 👍
@@jonrx7uk great post! Nice riding, keep sharing content.
Paradise place nice view dream countrt im from philippines❤️ ride safe brother 👊✌️
Great video. Matey was quite close to some of those cyclists at times! Would you say the Dolomites beats the Pico's or the other way round (Pico's looks a lot more quiet)?
I saw cyclists not riding in correct position and walkers not walking correctly. All possible accidents cued to occur. The motorcyclist did a great service with much patience to avoid collisions. This from an cyclist and hiker. I am not talking about legalese, but rather common sense sharing rules of the road.
I'm a cyclist too and would never ride like some of these guys
Was there 2019 on a super tenere 1200, got a ninja SX now, booked for picos in May 24 , find adventure bikes a bit boring to ride the SX ticks the boxes for me ,in fact I prefer it to my last bike superduke r 😳😳😳
Couldn't agree more, it ticks all the boxes for me too. The roads in northern Spain are epic 👍
Hello. The recording is good, just rotate the Insta camera view slowly :)
Hi, I’m heading to the Pyrenees next summer, on my Ninja 1000sx,😀may I ask you what mike set-up you use? I keep recording to have a video memory of our trips but the sound is just terrible, only wind-noise and vibrations. Regards
The sound is all induction, not exhaust. I have the microphone inside the air box itself to stop all the other noise (and protect it from rain). It's a bit awkward to thread through from the air inlet as you have to move the fuel tank out of the way to get to the filter housing but worth it 👍
What scenery, very beautiful!
very beautiful! nice perfect roads!
Sounds lovely, I’m presuming that’s not the standard can?
It's all induction noise, I have the microphone in the air box 👍
Thanks for the reply…
Great video! Cool angle on the camera and great views 👍🎉🏍️
What's the 2011 1000sx like compared to the newer ones I can't afford. . Not much else around other than that maybe fz1. . My back needs a break
The basic bike is the same (engine / power / gearbox / frame etc), they've just revised it slightly over the years. I think it's on it's 4th generation now. Later models have traction control, quick shifter, cruise and TFT screen
nice trip and bike!
Incredible👊
How is the SX for long distance like 500 miles/day?
Not an issue, I've done a few days like that. Seat was revised in 2020 so is a bit softer than previous model. I leave screen in low setting as buffering can be bad when following other bikes
Picking up my Kawasaki Ninja 1000 sx tomorrow great timing! R1 is sick fast on turns
Misschien ook ff stoppen tussendoor 😂
It's induction sound, The camera mic is actually inside the airbox
Exhaust sounds loud... obviously not stock?
You would think the Yam would get out of the way and let the better bike through!
the most beautiful view in the world, beautiful ride
i just bought 1000sx and really like it, handles great
Zwei Biker die den Tod suchen . Hier möchte ich nicht entgegenkommen !
After watching this feels so relaxing really man missing my next ride can't wait
Amazing road and views
Ive been looking at 1000sx and im really getting interested in one... I like to look at actual dyno sheets to see where power comes on because I could care less about "top end" numbers because you don't use the "top end" when riding everyday.... but with the 1000sx im impressed they were able to get Vtwin or Ltwin type torque curves low down through the rev range out of an inline 4. Definitely on my list now to test ride.
What I love about mine is (as you say) the low-down torque allows me to pull out of corners as quick as a twin + you can keep it in gear a lot longer, very handy when doing roads like the one in the video.
I have a '21 1000sx with full Akrapovic exhaust, ECU flashed and tuned by Moore Mafia and I'm getting 140 HP at the wheel and 80 ft lbs of torque. It has incredible linear power EVERYWHERE across the rev range.......
Whenever he’s exiting the tunnel with all that bright lights ahead my hearts in my mouth like ‘oh God let not a reckless driver approaching from the other side on the same lane’. Nice ride 👍🏾
Epic road
Great video, wondeful views. I don't see the need for keeping a 1000 cc in high revs all the time, it could be an expedite but relaxing run. I would review cornering lines.
