“Kokoliko” the sound of an African rooster, signalling dawn, a new day, a new horizon, hope and freedom!
Kokoliko Media, is a multimedia platform for and by young Africans. Created as a response to the absence of young Africans voices, critical voices that are often left out of major policy decisions that affect our lives for example.
The goal is simple, we are creating a platform that tries to make sense of the issues that affect African youths, from their perspectives. An initiative that builds collaborative and intellectual bridges among young Africans, and the rest of the world.

And yet about 80% of other people whose job it is failed to land that day. Captain Ruth is, among other things, a woman in a male dominated industry and she is exceptional. She is an inspiration to many of us and especially young black girls like my niece.

You must understand that "il" and "ils" are homophones, hence il may have in fact been an "ils" which would refer to the migrants. So yep, saying someone fired a racist slur is the biggest shortcut possible, and the translation gets rid of many interpretations. But y'know, biased media and so on...
