RYCC 2021 Picnic "Thrashers" Ride

My kids are learning to drop in on some of the small transitions at the new Rochester skatepark. Here are some of their first successful unassisted attempts.

I broke my thru axle and had to find a way to remove the broken part. No other videos came up when I searched it so I'm posting what I did. Hope it helps!

Start of the men's elite race on Sunday and the small pile up that ensued. If you look close you can see the guy on the ground take a wheel to the head. Everyone appeared to be okay, thankfully, good thing they wear helmets! The rest of the race was equally exciting.

My son and I spent the weekend watching Rochester cyclocross and I think he's hooked. He rode about 90 laps of the kids course and spent the rest of the time riding around the park. So, I built him a mini cross course in our backyard. It's a little rough right now but I'll make it better if he stays into it. Does anyone have plans for Belgian stairs?...

Watching the storm clouds clear as the sun sets behind the neighboring hill. I wish I kept it going longer but it was bed time for the kiddos.

Here's a time lapse we made of us clearing out a section of the IMBA trail in Tryon park after the nasty windstorm we had. It took down trees everywhere and took out power around 150,000 homes but more importantly (just kidding) it crapped up our trails. One section clear, many more to go.

Here's a little video I made of us setting up our Christmas tree this year. We can really move when we 're excited for the holidays!

Just documenting some fun we had with the family this year. I also learned a lot from putting this together. This was originally going to end after he fell off the motorcycle game but the template had me locked in for the whole song.
