I admire what Toyota have done with their GR range but for me when it comes to looks it comes across as trying too hard much like the previous Type R which looked way over riced, for me these GR cars look too riced. When you talk about whether certain cars are over priced now the answer is yes they are but when you want something like these then unfortunately that’s what they cost. I’m more an Audi fan and my RS3 makes these look cheap so if you’re asking if the Corolla is overpriced then have a think about what a hot German car costs lol, one thing I will say I prefer most about my car over these is that Audi made it look tougher without going over board, they pumped the guards out to make it fatter without bolting on stuff like the Corolla in the rear, I do like the front of the Corolla though but if I was looking for a hot small car in this price range it would be the new Type R

The overheating center diff really keeps me from getting car. Like a lot of FI cars, it seems lacks enough cooling for a 20-30 minute track session

It exudes rally car which always makes it such an appealing car. It absolutely joins the Evo/STi/Focus RS crew and you get thumbs up from all those drivers who know.

If you wanted a better interior - it is not a Lexus BMW or Merc or P-car. Buy one of those if you want a fancy interior with ALL the electronics your little heart desires. It is based on a tin can Corolla so - Quit your FN Bitching.

Love mine almost had it 1 year now. To help keep those wheels clean auto glym wheel protectant spray works a treat, dont miss the centre console good reason to take less sh.t in the car. Im a corolla enthusiasts if you look at any of the "hot" version in the past the look has been subtle like you have to look twice eg SX had a small little boot extension on the seca and slight extension off the roof on the hatch and slightly different bars front and rear but tha 1.6l 4age magic, the levin sportivo only had one colour a slightly bigger wing and wheels then the standard levin of the ae112 7afte little bit underwhelming but im glad it exists, sportivo only had extensions on the front bar and side skirts no wing and again singing NA marvel 2zzge so the fact the gr has a wider stance and the bonnet buldge thats tastefully exicuted with a turbo awd setup a wing would be un toyota hot corolla if you catch my drift. Is it too quiet maybe a little but its a more unique sound then the i30N and the civic type R and the golf gti/R i hate those obnoxious poping exhausts

I'm a bit confused, i was sure the 2016 models were alll C450's(not c43) and had no option for performance exhaust as well as the 7 speed instead of the 9 speed. Is this really a 2016 and not 17/18?

C43/450 from 2015 to 2018 look astonishing, 2019 to 2021 look regular C class, but definitely better overall car than C63. btw tell those C63 owners that BMW M3 ain't "one man one engine" yet leave them in the dust.

These cars are a future classic. Anything after 2007 2nd gen. No one will want them. Rubbish cars....

Hey! 2017 c43 owner here, have you had any issues with the transmission? mine has been feeling sluggish, for example, when I get in and drive off, the gear change between 1-2-3 does not feel smooth, I dont hear anything bad, but it feels like the car is just barely up to speed to shift into the next gear.

how many miles? (in your case i think it'd be km) im looking at purchasing a 2017 C43 with about 40k miles as a daily driver. But its german, and i have a lead foot, so im worried about durability. Yours seem's to be lower mileage than that but im looking for a review @ like 75k miles (because id be driving it until it dies)

I know this is an old video, but we just picked up a 2006 Mini Cooper S. Been looking at this exhaust, but I’m interested their race version. I can’t find a sound clip of it to save my life. Every CZcams video is of the sport version 😔

how do your buttons have power? i was told my buttons would lose power because there’s no harness connector. you seem to have the same wiring as me
