Ah! I'M SIMPLY A FAN OF THESE ANIMATICS, despite being one of the shortest songs in the entire musical, it has a lot of emotional weight within it and you reflected it in an incredible way. this is actually the only time i have cried over this song in the musical, and that shows how much emotion your animatic captures here. The way you can see the regret and heartbreak in both of them, how they each have had very different revelations about the other, how it truly feels like both lost something. Truly amazing

I keep rewatching this animation to make myself cry (especially when polites dies) and my friend, THIS IS AN ACHIEVEMENT. Polyphemus's design, the soldiers RED eyes the attack on Titan reference Odysseus's reaction to the club The cut to the infant when it says "ITS JUST ONE LIFE TO TAKE" POLITES'S DEATH HAD ME SOBBING- it's beautiful and mircsy should get an award.

Polites!!! best and shortest lived character. And then when he reapears in the underworld, yet still persists in his joyous song, only demished and slowed as he's a spirit. The joy of hearing polites again, then the pain of remembering he's dead. Never been so emotional for a fictional character. Is this what my sibs feel when they read?

I'm gonna be honest I'm a little sad Jorge didn't see this, or at least I don't think he did. People are saying you're a prophet, but I think that a Polities reprise was an obvious choice (he wouldn't be so important before his death otherwise). I DO however think the lyrics here are better than the official reprise we got, since it captures the fact that Polities isn't alive and can't greet the world woth open arms. It'd be enough if Polities changed "us" to "you" in the official song, a little like you did.

As always amazing animation, symbolism coloring... Odysseus climbing the mountain of dead bodies really reminded me of Thorfinn from Vinland Saga Season 2, only that Thorfinn was horrified seeing the people he murdered while Odysseus embraces it

My favorite part of this song is when odysseus comes in for the final chorus, he comes in at change the world since that what he cares about instead of singing with athena at the beginning, showing that they weren't ever in sync.
