Amazing trail! It's got a Squamish vibe going on with those granite slabs. If you know, you know. This trail definitely lives up to it's name; it's a real sufferfest! There are some technically challenging parts and some steep parts, but what makes it so hard to clean is that it's just so long and relentless, so that you're out of breath the whole time (if you're as unfit as me, anyway). Thanks. It's GoPro 11 with a foam case (to reduce wind noise). The camera settings I use are more-or-less those recommended by the Loam Ranger in his video on the camera.

That was tough to do back in 2003! I doubt if 20+ years of erosion have made it any easier. Longer wheel based bikes don't help either. I see the entrance has changed but it looks like the 3rd and 5th switchbacks are still the crux moves. Well done.
The entrance got re-routed a year or so ago when of part of Centrefold was closed (the first part of the climb that ran beside the creek) and Middle Earth was opened (you can now climb all the way up Middle Earth, bypassing Switchback altogether). The 3rd corner is definitely the hardest, but the erosion on the 4th makes it harder than the 5th IMO.

Thanks. I make the trail logos as images in Keynote, and then overlay them on the clip in DaVinci Resolve (I don't really know what I'm doing, but there are plenty of youtube tutorials explaining how to overlay images on videos in DaVinci).
