Just two guys enjoying the outdoors in Northern Ontario.
Aluminum Boat Casting Deck Project
Took 4 days, a few hours every night after work. I got the carpet for free off a friend, and the aluminum rail too. More will be added soon but a big improvement already.

How To Pan Fry Rainbow Trout.

Cooking Rainbow Trout. Pan Fry. How we cook our rainbow trout in the frying pan. Simple, delicious way to cook trout.
My dude, on HIGH HEAT, sear the skin and it comes out like a chip. Then flip it on the meat side for a nice brown and voila. Chefs kiss.
What did you do? Rip out all of the customization that you did?
Good idea about the aluminum bars and brackets, the issues that you pointed out at the end of the video can all be fixed. Thank you for making and sharing the video.
Proper professional way might be to use fresh lemon. Definitely would taste better, especially on a freshly caught fish🤷♀️
Glad I found this video. Well done. Good to see all the comments about not using treated lumber on aluminum!
Lookin good 👍
Sure looks like salmon
What did you use as supports for the area between the front of boat to the first bench?
Instead of pt wood, what are the alternatives out there? What about something like cedar or similar? It has ver good water repelancy..
That's awesome! Gives me a reason to keep mine for 1 or two more years. Just curious, why didn't you go longer with the deck to have more room for casting for two people?
Is this fish store bought? In many of my Adult cooking FRESH Atlantic Ocean USA, CAUGHT Trout, interior meat color is NOT PINK.
Awesome job!! From one 🇨🇦 to another 🇨🇦 Subscribed!
I support your content
Brook trout are very aggressive feeders-they will hit most everything. That you have a table full of stuff says that if have a clue you can catch them.
What are the measurements ? I have a 14 foot valco.
Butter in pan. Fry trout. Add lemon juice and maybe a little salt and pepper. Eat with boiled baby potatoes covered with butter and fresh chopped parsley.
the treated wood will eat through the Aluminum.
You give me a starting point! thanks
Best lure for brookies is the floresent orange Panther Martain
If you didn't eat the skin, you aren't a real fish eater.
Fuck off George u don’t catch or eat fish u old fuck
@@truenorthangling7019 laughable. So juvenile.
How has that Thompson’s worked so far. Trying to decide between that and paint
What exactly are those supports that you’re using
AWESOME! This is exactly what I want to do with my aluminum fishing boat!!! Thank you for the video!!!
Is that a 2in in pearl?
Yellow with red dot Panther Martin with a silver blade, best lure.
Looks great! Nice video!... But you should have told us how long it took to cook 3/4 of the way through. And how long it took to cook the other side. Also might have shown stove temp dial. Exactly medium on the first side? Turn down heat to 'what' on the second side? - But thank you for showing the basics. :)
Xjxk
Am at a cabin in the smokies and there's a trout creek right next to me Soo I'm trying to learn some lures I've caught a few on a tiny twister tail and a spoon
Next time use cardboard boxes and make a template then lay that on the plywood
Good job!
I just cooked mine with the help of this video and it’s good
did he wash off all the spices after fish touching and spice touching
Yum yum
All classics... if I had to add to that list, it would be small white tube jigs (for vertical jigging), Rapala countdown minnows (white and chartreuse) or small Husky Jerk (blue, silver, orange).
Where you guys from
Sudbury
Some of my favourites in there too! That little double Williams spinner was one of my Dads faves. I’ve caught lots of specks with it too. Ahhh... the joys of sorting tackle and the anticipation of the strike! This sure brought back a lot of wonderful memories to an old fisherman. Thanks guys and best of luck!😊👍
best of luck to you aswell sir!
cool man, i did something similar with my boat too. As far as your hatch I just used a couple 2x2s on the sides and it seemed to work to hold my weight. Anyways good luck out there
Love me some trout! That looked tasty, great video!! 👍🏽
Others have said it....pressure treated is like acid to aluminum. Use Aztec plastic plywood
Yellow panther Martin body with red dots and a silver blade size 2 or 4 depending on the time of the year
With the mepps, do you tie on the end of the line, and add a worm, cast and slow reel in? I got a 2 and size 1..just curious if you used worms with them, tied up the line a bit , using sinkers etc...
Where are u from
my boat is 14 ft its realy tippy does putting the deck on make it more stable
How u go
Stability is stamped into the shape of the hull.
Pulls skin off. I die a little inside. 🙁
Grandpa's spinner is called a "shyster"...has a weighted body. I was crushing them with an orange body and god blade
That looks like chit
Show us yours.
Best for me is a black Panther Martin with a copper or silver blade.
Thanks. I am going to make this tonight.
Отличная работа!Только фанеру надо было обработать лаком ,а потом ковролин к ней приклеить водостойким клеем...А так фанера может от воды набухнуть...Успехов!
How did you get the shape for the wood marked? I just murdered a piece of plywood
You have to make a template out of any stiff thin material such as cardboard or paneling.
