How fast is Ice Barrage Sorc with 80 HR invested? Project Diablo 2 Season 9 - build showcase | PD2
Hello guys, as Season 9 is slowly dying out, I decided to make an Ice Barrage Sorc showcase for you.
First, I show skills, stats, and gear, and then we run a fat and dangerous T3 map - Canyon with 188% extra density, which takes about 8.5 minutes.
This is my first attempt at voiceover also during being ill, so it was clumsy and uncomfortable and everything, but I believe still better than without it!
This season was truly a Sorc season, so the gear was crazy expensive, and in total it is above 80 HR.
However, there are budget variants for building this, and I can make another video, if you are interested. I tried frost nova and frozen orb as well, and Ice Barrage is my favourite.
For those who haven't played Project Diablo 2 - this is the most balanced D2 mod which feels like original add-on and is thoroughly curated, moderated and regularly updated.

Flamebellow Holy Fire Paladin - Project Diablo 2 | Season 8 | Build showcase!

Decided to finally upload a video of my flamebellow pally and run a t1 map with it :) Flamebellow paladin is a new version of Holy Fire build. It became viable in S8 after Holy Sword skill was introduced. Holly sword allows parrying with 2h weapons - it is quite easy to reach 40% parry chance. 0:01 - build 1:50 - map 8:00 - boss 9:50 - concluding remarks

Is there a particular reason why you dont have barrage on left click and tp perma on right? Just playstyle?
Sorry for slow response. In short, to have barrage on left you either have to hold shift while shooting or to click on mobs, which is not very convenient.

Thank you mate. I made it in Season 8 when holy sword was bugged af. They fixed it now, it should be much more playable

My inferno sorc is faster and only about 15 hr

Have you compared the fathom/Medusa combo to a decent cold mang song? The higher fcr would give you options and more open sockets.
Thanks for suggestion! I did not try it, but considered it a bit. So, I started the season with skull collector - I still have a very good one in my stash. And it is pretty similar to mangs, I guess, though in case of Skull Collector you don't get more damage, but ton of mf and survivability, if paired with ES. The difficulty with Mangs is that it doesn't give you resistances, so you probably want to go ES - but then it does not give you crazy maek as Skull Collector does. On the bright side, Mangs will be the top damage option, for sure.

Super interesting how you're able to prevent them from even attacking so consistently. I figured more rogue shots would hit like at 8:51..haha. Have you considered ferocity on your merc for taunt or not needed since you don't telestomp as much as nova?

@@bigdave4400 its very close to 80hr, most of the gear is expensive, especially now into the season. You can always argue about the prices, but the reality is that its around 60-80hr investment

I use 3os spirit ward (fade proc for extra res) with neg req maek jewels/facets, occultist gloves, %life ormus and nightwing 2os on both. I use 125 bp on my frost nova sorc. No difference in damage or speed but much tankier. Nice build man
Cool, I totally forgot that spirit ward has fade proc. Your build sounds strong. For me, I just wanted a 200 fcr for fast zapping - dunno if it is much stronger than 105 bp, because to reach 200 fcr you have to give up a lot

a3 warshrike looks like tons of fun, but I'm not sure I can keep the golem alive :))
@@JB_tries_yt the golem snapshots, so stack all your +skill gear, take a skill shrine then summon him. You can always desummon him and get the item back. He doesn’t like some map bosses tho.
That's a different built entirely and uses very different gear and skills.

Yes sir, and wasn't really expensive - 2.25 or so!
Imagine there could be a +skill, fcr or maek slam instead of +all attr

Hi, debating on starting this for season 9 tomorrow, still think this is a good starter? I read your budget options below, but does this build need infinity or is that just for high end min max type gear? I usually play PlugY so Ber's are hard to come by.
I would say that the changes of the season don't make it much worse than previously, you can go with it! And feel good without infi
@@JB_tries_yt Sweet! Leveling-wise is Magic arrow better due to lower mobs immunity? I'll be playing PlugY so I can respec as much as I want. What about using an A3 merc with prayer? Insight scepter/que hagens chest? I just really don't see myself getting an infinity on SP so just looking for some budget options lol
@@Dunkaholic18 a3 prayer is very good for sustain yes. Magic arrow for sure is a better starter bcz you won't suffer once you reach hell

@@hasanvurgun4005 This one is not cheap in its final form. However, there are both alternative build variants and the intermediate cheaper variants, e.g. a1 merc with Pus Spitter before you can afford Faith or a2 with infinity. Would you be interested to read about that?
@@JB_tries_yt thanks for explaining but the season is pretty much done, what is left is a small bunch of people offering their overpriced items on the site. Next season perhaps.
