Thank you so much for this video! 🙏🏽 I'm currently learning computer programming (again....I started learning HTML in 2020, but stopped because I wasn't getting it). But as of this year, 2024, I already learned HTML and CSS. I just started JavaScript last night. I'm pivoting careers, that's the purpose of learning computer programming.

I wonder if the creators are German nerds at all - because ECHT (pronounced “ekt”) means “Real” in German and that was what my mind went to when I saw how the name was spelled. Pronouncing it like “etched” makes it a lil bit of a brain scramble for the linguistics nerd in me.
oh wowww I never thought about this. I don't know German but I wonder if there is a relationship. Based on the definition you shared I think there may have been intention behind the name. I pronounced it the way I did because the spot is owned by African Americans and in AAV sometimes T is used to dramatize the sound of the 'ed' at the end of words. I just assumed that's how it was pronounced!
@@nicoleyoungtech I suspect Afrikaans would likely use a similar word to German & Dutch, so maybe there's a south african background link??

How do you maintain your professional contacts in an authentic way?
This is such a good question! Checking in periodically, engaging with what they do online, and attending events when you can to reconnect are things that I do!
While working from a coffee shop, how long do you stay there? I work virtually and it’s a bit interactive (talking) so it’s difficult to find places outside of my home to work from.
2-4 hours depending but I think 2.3 seems to be the sweet spot for me
