Oh, gee, that takes me back. They used to have Acco tip trucks with that exact motor in them at the asphalt company my father worked at. I don't remember the drivers working them that hard, but then I only ever heard them driving cold out of the yard in the morning.

I had a 555 in a Kenworth back in the 70's good Engine but no power , the 903 was much better

If this is in Tasmania up Stanley way.. I now own that engine haha

The 555 and 903's get a bit loud with no muffler's for me,especialy under load.

can someone tell me the frequency changes for the upper speakers?

Pops said back in the day we used to have horns for each spectrum of sound highs, mids, low mids, bass , sub and it sounded crystal clear, far, low power . I agree that now speaker boxes and having to carry multiple just dont have the clairty, nor throw as older tech. I rather use horn loaded cabinets than what is availabe at your local sound dealer, with basic box design. Cheers!

I used to run the 903 in the US Army in the Vietnam era 10 ton tractors , the M123A1C, hauling Cat D7E dozers but ours were geared very low with s top speed of 43.9 mph at 3300 rpm’s. But we had dual exhausts coming out right in front of the quarter fenders. And when we were pulling hood it would shoot the exhaust smoke out the sides about 3 feet before turning back

Beautiful location but what’s with that warbling and distorted sound as you move in? I have heard some good stacks and arrays. But most sound like these. Many of my friends who are in their 20’s like me have never heard great live sound. It’s sad how many younger people have settled for sound “quality” like this.

I’m not sure what you wanted to highlight, but there’s obviously a whacky amount of phase and diffraction related distortion. Maybe compare against some Syva’s or other good L’Acoustic’s or D&B’s to highlight the differences.
