Are you keeping it running while pulling plugs
no never
Run the sea foam in vac system while its running then drive it for 100 miles or so then let kool off do plugs. If plug is giving you a issue spray little pb blaster work plug back or fourth.

Well it’s also old and with 300,000 miles you’d expect any truck to break down by then.
The fuel pump was just put in. The pump didn't last 200 miles. So I don't blame the truck for faulty parts. The truck has never broke down on me. I know some day its gonna need new engine and transmission but as of right not nether give me any issues. Not even a check engine light.

The recommended technique is to get the engine up to temperature and use an impact gun to get the plugs out. That just seems to be a little harsh to me. I like the way you did it. Taking your time, feeling for resistance, going back and forth. It is my understanding that the plugs protrude quite far into the combustion chamber where carbon builds up on the plugs. That's why they break coming out. I see below that you used Sea Foam to break up the carbon. Back in the day we used water to decarbonize combustion chambers.

Thank you. I prep the engine ahead of time. Sea foam in vacuum system and used pb blaster on it if I didn't like the feel I was getting and just took my time worked the plug back and forth.

No. I have no plan on changing out a complete Ac system lol.
Condensers,accumilater,compressor,are expensive!! I had compressors seize up!! Good content pappa!! Everybody loves the Husky ratchet!!
The condensers with the R1234yf are not lasting. It's crazy that they need to be replaced after 4 years

I have had many over the years and one thing I have learned with grinders is keep it simple.

I have a trick or two up my sleave lol. I don't see why you wont get that 300K. Keep clean oil and listen to the rear.

@@PapasHobbyGarage yes, I know it is not a show truck, but as my father used to say: "you take care of your equipment, it will take care of you" (USMC saying I believe). Not changing the plugs for 300K miles is shear abuse- you should be in jail.

I have 2 4 1/2 grinders. I used to have a Craftsman corded electric die grinder that I used quite a bit. I have a 7' grinder but haven't used it.
I have a die grinder only time i really use it is tire repair. I have a dynafile i use often when I remember I have it lol.
Nothing wrong with Craftsman cordless tools. They get the job done.
And they take a lot of abuse

Good honest review. I'd be interested in another live. Monday is a good day around 8PM. I've seen the Duratech tools reviewed. Duratech is made by Goldstar, the company that now owns SK. Warranty seems to be an issue. Craftsman's ratchets seem to be hit or miss lately. The V Series look similar to the Mac Axis and the Proto. The lack of serviceability and a comfort grip the size of a cigarette butt keep me from buying one.
The craftsman V Series is not a bad ratchet. I dont care if a ratchet can be serviced I have had more issues with ratchets that can be serviced then not.

I'm getting too old for the "calisthenics", as I've come to call the constant getting up and down, of working with jack stands. The mind knows what to do but the body don't want to cooperate.

So the 2001 Kia Rio Cinco was the least expensive car in the market which I paid cash it also got very good gas mileage required very little maintenance I took it for 245,000 mi total cost of maintenance repairs tires brakes including gas came to 64,000 over 220,000 me lifetime I think I got one hell of a deal thank you Kia most people pay $64,000 and make payments for 10 years just to get it off the lot
My wife owns a 2023 Kia this is our 3rd one.
The newer ones are not as good as the older ones. We had a early 2k Kia paid 500 for it drove it for 3 years. It had well over 200k on it.

I had a 2005 Tahoe. One brake line busted. Repaired it. The pressure was so good that it busted the next weakest line so than I bought the Dorman complete brake line set. Comes with all the lines and ends flared. Only thing is you need to bend them into place.
