What kind of pickups and strings are on Poland's B.C. Rich please? I've an idea to build an exact sounding D.I.Y inspired by his B.C. Riches or maybe his Bich or B.C. Rich Soloist(-ish) he used during Megadeth from 1984 to 1987. :D :P

Hearing him play here makes me wish Damn The Machine were still around. I had the funkiest introduction to that band. Perhaps you had the same introduction. I got home from school one day and there was a box for sending cd's in my mailbox. Inside was a cd single from a new band called DAMN THE MACHINE. Found out it said it was Chris Poland's new band, so Immediately put it in my cd player and off I went into their world. Wasn't long after I bought the cassette and then later saw the video on HBB. That video really depressed me so I never watched it much. Thanks Bill for putting this up. Fantastic!

Chris’s legacy in Megadeth is cemented and solidified. Poland has been out of that band more years than in and his style of playing is uniformly transcendent with ALL musical styles, whether it be metal, jazz, acid jazz. This man is a true guitarist. Chris and Stanley Jordan should compose music together. Now THAT would be a sound to enjoy ✌🏿

Chris’s playing brings tears to my eyes. He has so much feeling. I listen to Megadeth’s first two albums everyday. Greatest lineup in metal history.

Can this old pro who saw Jimi Hendrix and is also left-handed give you some tremolo arm advice? You should cut the arm back so you can keep it under your palm as you play. That probably means you should adjust your tremolo so it lays more parallel to your guitar body. You might think this makes your tremolo arm too short, but it can be a delicate thing if set up properly.

Sounds better than the those atrocious Yamahas
