I notice that when installing the head gasket, one was applied but when the head was being placed on the engine it looked like there was 2. Am I seeing double or is this a special gasket ? It's comming along. Cheers

i am not sure what i would have done if i seen the triumph before i had seen the W800 cafe... who knows. i had just got the Concours and seen Exeter Riders video on the W800 Cafe and fell in love. i started to look at the W and wanted it for around town. not sure if it just was not the front cowling, but i can tell you, i fell in LOVE with the W800 Cafe for its ride home. i do like that Thruxton R!

I sent my Moab friend a video of rainy England today. Its reaching 100f in Moab this week. I hope I do it. It seems like a pipe dream though. It will nice to spend a couple days around your area before I head to Utah. My friend has a CZcams channel. Its called c90adventures.

I Have had so many great years of healthy motor riding for work, competition, and fun all around this country that I cannot complain that at 78 years, my body is starting to let me down. I will continue riding moto"crs until I can't. I shall continue to enjoy my run , from third base to HOME! . . . On two wheels as much as possible. 😮 PS: One regret I have is being unable to ride more frequently with you!❤

I'm always amazed at how many clear blue sky days you have. Again, it is such a beautiful area to ride. I never imagined you guys watched Last of the Summer Wine. Such a quintessentially British daft/gental comedy. One of the stars of that show, Peter Sallis, was also the voice behind the fabulous Ardman productions Wallace and Grommet We've plenty of historic canals around us for that slow canal boating experience. We've a canal just a couple of hundred yards up from our house and featured a few on Carol's channel in our walking vids. I hope you get chance to visit the UK at some point.

Last of the summerwine made it over to the States.... WHAT! I never knew that. Canal boating is as good as you imagine it is, I did it with my family back in 88, and it was one of the best breaks we ever had. Wonderful. What a beautiful ride alongside that river Jerry, lovely scenery. I was brought up watching Last of the summer wine, great series. I prefer the earlier episodes with the original characters in it. I had visions of going over the edge of that bridge when you kept walking backwards🤣🤣

Last of the Summer wine is a Classic, and you sure have to be carefull on that small bridge with no railings, but does look considerably well made. Hope you enjoy a nice cup of tea in you Mug when you get home. Cheers Jerry.

The Rocket's looking well set up now Jerry, well done 👍 the new TFT cam position works great although I'm a little concerned about that metal bar mounting. Just for safety sake since your going to be tucked right above it, might I suggest covering it with a bit of water pipe lagging, it might just save your neck. I'm sure you'll keep it upright though, I'll be with you in spirit.🙏

I do love the sound of those Rockets, beautiful. I always think they sound like a Spitfire aeroplane. Seems lots of work needed to get it right for the speed week, looks lovely though. Not long to go really, stay safe up until then Jerry, even moreso, say safe when you're at Bonneville

Did a good job with the LCD display camera, a great idea. Very good progress there is still lots to do, you will have a busy few weeks before the runs at Bonneville. Will be waiting eagerly for the next update. Thanks Jerry.

This was a terrific video. I have a really nice Zard exhaust on mine, and have been thinking about de-cat and maybe a cam. Have a question about the ECU: I'm ignorant on this, so if this is dumb, my apologies. The bike has an auto remap program, as you know. Wondering why an aftermarket ECU would be necessary. If it is, would it benefit from a power commander? Would the difference between those options be worth it, performance-wise? Really liking this channel and hope you don't mind me picking your brain.

Probably been tried or suggested, what about a chest mount or shoulder mount for the camera Jerry? It's always been a right PITA getting good camera position, footage and audio. 🤬 Didn't realise how much goes into getting a bike ready for that. Rules, rules, rules I presume?

Wouldn't a chest mount be the answer, I know you'll be tucking into the tank but it's just a case of angling it and setting the field of view correctly. Also try white balance and exposure settings and frame rate changes to avoid flickering.

Great to see it comming along Jerry.And nice to see your getting the feel of the bike. Regarding the display camera, when it's mounted on right hand handlebar. Can you put the camera in spot metering mode and place the spot on the centre of the instrument. It may be that the camera has set exposure to average of all the surrounding image. In addition possibly shroud off external light a bit around the left hand side of instruments. But I know you are very detailed and have probably tried every possible option. Lots of prep and safety lock wire going on. Honestly that Triumph TFT display is awful. It was a complaint when I tested a Rocket. If it had the tablet like screen BMW uses there would be no issue recording the screen. Can you not run a data logger under the seat and just overlay the data on the video later? Sorry but the jousting pole looks super dangerous 😮

My tiger also had the same fault, 2023 gt pro. First they changed my tes sensor from warranty, after 3-4 months same fault appeared from time to time (especially after vibration for example taking the bike from main stand) . Last time my mechanic saw that the wires connected to tes sensor can easily move out the socket, he fixed them with silicone, the fault is totally gone. Maybe the info can help you guys.

In the 1st video I saw he cut a triple in half with a hack saw . I thought he was a crazy hack. By the end of the video he was clearly brilliant craftsman and engineer that understands how and why everything works
