Repair Jigsaw Bosch PST 58 PE
The blade roller guide has fallen out of the Bosch PST 58 PE jigsaw. I was lucky to see most of the parts lying on the ground.
In this video the roller blade and axis are mounted back and the missing E-clip retaining ring is added to ensure proper locking.

In that case the work height is already increased and works quite well for me. For wood-work I typically use my indoor work benches which are indeed somewhat higher.

    18:32 Tractor so excited about the new attachment it couldn't wait for you. Also having just gotten a stump bucket not too long ago, I would've loved to have this. I wonder if a thumb could be incorporated without reducing functionality too much.

    • @OutdoorsintheLowCountries
      @OutdoorsintheLowCountries Před měsícem

      Hahaha... didn't think this way about 18:32. The shape of the rhino ripper is ideal to dig underneath and cut the roots. It is relatively light weight and therefore doesn't reduce the upward force of the front loader that much. A thumb can be used to grip stumps, but in practice the sharp point is already doing that in most of the cases. Next to that the volume above the blade is fully required when pushing the ripper underneath a stump and the implement is tilted forward so the ripper points almost fully downward to enter the ground easily.

    I've heard fishing line up high across your property will deter them and that they won't fly below it.I've got that started on my property with a bunch of cds too. But I also have a large extension ladder so it helps. Stupid hawk lives in a tree within sight of my coop.

      @OutdoorsintheLowCountries Před 3 měsíci

      He's not that stupid then. Free chickens at the neighbour. ;-) I have the same problem. A few days ago the hawk pulled out the bars of my smaller coop and took out a chicken. These birds are strong! In this video (czcams.com/video/yABelfCXeDII/video.html) it wasn't successful, but now it was. I have now created steel brackets to reinforce the bars to prevent the hawk from pulling them out.

    • @OutdoorsintheLowCountries
      @OutdoorsintheLowCountries Před 3 měsíci

      In the mean time I have lost several chickens on martens in that coop. The only thing that protects them is the coop with these small bars like you see in this video czcams.com/video/yABelfCXeDI/video.html. But a few days ago a hawk pulled out the bars and took a chicken. So now I reinforced it by steel brackets that prevents the bars from being pulled out. The story never ends.... My plan is to create a much larger coop using mesh panels instead of chicken wire type of closing. But that is quite a large project.

    • @tayori3ryokou

      @@OutdoorsintheLowCountries Thank you for your reply and the tips! 🙂 Yes, we gotta keep outsmarting these creatures 🙂 We have lived in our house for 30 years now, and have never had an issue with a predator, up until this marten. 😲 We only had a hedgehog 🦔family take shelter in the chicken coop 🙂 that was rather sweet, we let them stay, then they left on their own after a while.

    • @OutdoorsintheLowCountries
      @OutdoorsintheLowCountries Před 3 měsíci

      @@tayori3ryokou Same story on this side. I'm having chickens all my life from very young age. Never had any problems with predators. Only the last few years this has changed. First the foxes came along; but a fox is quite easy to keep out. Then wild cats; a little bit harder but also relatively easy to keep them out. Next the hawks and other birds of prey; quite difficult to keep them out because you need to create a top side protection. The result was a strong decrease of chicken coop from 30 x 30 m to 3 x 3 m. Then the martens: normal sized wire fence they still can get through. Thus the mesh should be very small. So the chicken coop has now reduced further to 2 x 0.6 m, which was originally meant for protecting the very small chicks against crows etc. And even there they weren't safe since a hawk pulled out the metal mesh from the wooden frame, so I reinforced all meshes with strong steel brackets. So my plan is now to build a chicken coop from strong steel mesh panels with relatively small mesh widths. Not sure yet when this project will start though, since many other projects are still running as well. 🙂

    • @OutdoorsintheLowCountries
      @OutdoorsintheLowCountries Před 4 měsíci

      Thanks. The red wire with banana connector is only for starting up the plasma proces. Also the red wire is way too thin for this high amount of current. The main current will be between the two electrodes via the main cables.

    • @johnmacmillan627
      @johnmacmillan627 Před 4 měsíci

      Thx. Confused a wee bit here. If I set the machine for 40 amps and connect the red wire to the ground in the machine as you suggest why isnt the 40 amps passing thru the circuit to the torch tip immediately and burning thru the red wire. What is resisting this surge in amperage?

    • @OutdoorsintheLowCountries
      @OutdoorsintheLowCountries Před 4 měsíci

      The main cables are designed for the high current. The red thin wire clearly not. The simple ring interface connection of the red wire does not indicate a complex interface at system side. So I expect a high electrical resistance as protection of the red wire circuit in the electronics design of the holder. This will limit the current in the red wire circuit during startup as well as during the process. Since I haven't noticed any cable heating in the red wire during long time operation, I expect this leakage power to be very small.

    I purchased a Husky 550xp mark II and that thing is a beast. It eats up the wood and spits it out!

    Nice job and presentation- thank you. Just an idea, to weld / bolt expanded steel in open areas to protect your grill and engine hood. Still could see through, but a little more piece of mind (Or a grill guard).

      Thanks. I have the original grill guard, but it doesn't fit because of the front 3P hitch. It is still on my 'to do' list to create an adapted version (see czcams.com/video/wXf_RdrNx8w/video.html).

    Hi, good video , thanks for your effort. Can you write down the things that stilh fs 461 trimmer box includes ?

      All the things shown in the video are originally of the FS461. The only item I bought as extra is the thicker Trim Line.

    Great execution. I just ordered a QA plate and have some AR400 3/4" at the shooting range. I'll be tackling this in the next few days. I have a stump bucket but the tractor don't have the balls to move all that dirt and carve out roots, so it's just not very efficient. Will keep you posted. All the best.

      Thanks! AR400 3/4" will be a very good candidate for creating a Rhino Ripper. Please let me know if you have the same positive experience as I have. Use both the front loader upward force and the wheel traction in 4WD to rip roots. Good luck!
