From where I sit it definitely appears that there is an aspect of feminism that is linked to capitalism and consumerism. It’s like capitalists looked at feminists and thought “how do we manipulate them into buying into the system?” Women (and anyone for that matter) should not be expected to do anything but what they desire and need (i.e. it is ok for women to want to work. It is also ok for women to want to stay home)

You will be extremely criticized for saying that in front of Koreans who were born in Korea, went to elementary schools in Korea, and work now hard in Korean society IN REAL KOREA but NOT in your countries! ( what is your real identity?? Ar yu UNIVERSAL Asian or American or European??? Why you live with citizenship there if you are 'UNIVERSAL Asians'?????) We are complete an OUTGROUP genetically against you that CANNOT be MIXED Racially and Culturally and Spirit-ly with YOUR ASIAN peoples. Only Asians living in the U.S. or europe think that way. That is the WEIRD characteristic of Asian-Americans or Asian-European. Have you ever really thought why Asians are treated like that in America or Europe? If you don't know, search CZcams for the urban aesthetics and bizarre and non democratic and non human cultures, society ethics of YOUR Asian countries that you BOAST.

I think abortion should be a last resort option but overall that safe sex should be more widely taught and praticed. Since some abortions happen bc the mother wouldnt be able to raise the child happily which is fair enough but still sad to me. Thanks for the video Olivia its very interesting to think about :)

So many vvomen say they want a 'high-status' man who will pay her every bill and expense in life. Well, it is possible, but she won't like the way it will go for her. First of all, she will have to go for a guy who is way older than she is, and she's basically going to have to be a slave to whatever he wants from her. That's it, if she can do those things and be happy with him then she will be able to grab a Billionaire and keep him for life. Let me explain how it goes in a mathematical way: When a man provides / pays-for 100% of the couple's cost of living, he wants not only a 'submissive' vvoman, he also wants one who is much 'younger' than he is. (submissive = she does as he wants, she does not disagree with him in any way, shape, or form, and this is highly improbable these days). Submissive: When he tells her to stop looking at her phone when she is around him, she better do that otherwise he will dump her in just a few days of her not doing as he requests. Yes, rich guys demand things like this from their girls, and if the girl resists then she's gone, to be replaced by someone else instead. Now lets say that both are the same age, but she is submissive to him. If both of them are the same age and she is submissive to him, the most he will provide is 75% of their total living costs. (well that sucks, she's not getting much from that relationship). For every 2% more income that he has to provide for the couple, she has to be 1 additional year younger than he is. So if he has to provide 95% (20% more than 75%), then she has to be at least 10 years younger than he is. If he provides 100% of the couple's income, then she has to be at least 13 years younger than he is, otherwise, it is not going to happen. Equal age (+/- 2yrs) and she is NOT submissive: He provides 50%, She provides 50%. Equal age and she is submissive (he decides all): He provides 75%, She provides 25%. Now let's say she is 10 years younger and submissive. He will pay for: (75% + 2 x (10) )% = 95% of the couple's cost of living. She can get him to pay for 100% of the couple's cost of living if she is 12.5 years younger (or younger), and submissive to him. Now lets say that she is normal and she is not submissive at all to him, she tells him she will have as many boyfriends on the side as she wishes and she will answer any guy who messages her on her phone whenever she wishes. No rich guy is going to for that, he will dump her in a heartbeat. But lets say that she is only HALF submissive, and she will do have of the things he demands from her. Well then, he will provide halfway between 50% and 75%, he will be providing only 62.5% of the couple's cost of living. The difference between 100% and 62.5% is 37.5% Divide that by 2 and you get 18.75 , or 19 if you round it up. She would have to be 19 years younger than he is for him to provide 100% of the couple's cost of living. This is more realistic because no woman wants to be a slave, she has certain standards that she needs to keep. The exchange for this is that she will have to be around 20 years younger than the man in order for him to pay ALL of her cost of living. So if a vvoman wants a high value man, she better start searching for a man who is at least 20 years older than she is, it really is as simple as that.

When I was a baby, my father was the sole caretaker of me and my brother because my mother was heavily neglectful and stayed in her room all day. Even so, my father has always been seen as a bad person by my mom's side of the family and by the law (he has been arrested unrighteously because of the lawyer he received from the government, my father told me that she literally said she's going to give him the worst sentence she can, even if he was clearly innocent), despite the fact that he worked two jobs and always had to make sure we were fed and had our diapers changed (because she would always forget to check that as well). Most times when the law got involved, my dad was kicked out of the house that he pays for while my mom got to stay, even if she was in the wrong. One night, my mother did start hitting my dad because he woke him up on a night that me and my brother were obviously neglected, and the only reason why he was excused from being kicked out was because his friend recorded my mom hitting him. I've never understood why women are biased towards in the law as far as I've seen in my own home, and I feel like things would be better if everyone was just equal so that in cases like mine, real, honest justice would be served that stays unbiased, no matter the gender, race, sexuality, etc.

I don’t like this fad or ‘aesthetic,’ which is just a fad you mistake for a personality now, because it breeds the worst people and does harm to people who are mentally ill but don’t fit the beauty standards and aren’t wealthy enough to spend all their money on ‘aesthetic’ crap. I hate that these creators usually can afford therapy and meds but just don’t want to because they aren’t actually as bad as they portray. I have never had the luxury to be like this. I had a lot of early trauma and I had to hide it. I didn’t get accurate support. Just the same platitudes you tell a child when their toy breaks, because nobody knew how to help chronically ill, recently adopted foster kids back then. But I would be rewarded for faking being ok. That was an unhealthy vice. I didn’t get diagnosed with CPTSD or my autoimmune disease until I was in my late 20s. Just because I faked being ok didn’t mean it was painful inside. I also never processed trauma enough to learn how to recognize traumatic situations. I want to see the ‘healing’ fad take off. Not this ‘I’m a dysfunctional mess but I look so cute and have expensive things so it’s fun’ crap. I want to see people going to therapy and getting help and not being toxic and justifying it by trying to seem as cute and fragile as possible. I’ve seen ‘I know I get possessive, and controlling, and I have a tendency to flip out for no reason but if you leave me it will hurt me and k went through so much trauma already so I need you to save me,’ and if you tell the masses to run from someone like that, the other commenters act like you just said anxiety is made up.

as much as i love the concept of individuality i think that socially we have to work together to survive, in the instance of the bus there are so many different aspects holding it together. every single person contributes to the world differently, as the hem strings once held the posters, the bar holds the strings. even without meaning of holding onto the strings, existence is not meaningless because it is the definition of life.

what a random ramble in a youtube comment section! society is derived from nature, where poverty is physical pain. these issues occur in a natural sense, with the meaning that there is a lack of resource. purpose? to push through and survive. there is never going to be meaning to every action to the world, but rather many things result as a reaction. as someone in a lower class position i do not think my life is meaningless, but rather an acknowledgement to the world that it needs to be fixed. from experience i have learned what needs to be improved, and whether or not i can fix that it is the cycle of society & overall life.

For me, sometimes it’s a way to not feel alone with my thoughts. I often had the impression of being „weird“ for struggling the way I did growing up bc i noticed that people around me didn‘t seem to have these struggles. I barely could leave my bed for like a year and no one understood, including myself. People shamed me for it, making me feel even worse. When i started consuming media/music that adressed depression i felt less alone, i felt like i was okay the way i was and there were people relating. Most of my friends have a history of mental illness bc we just relate on a different level. I think people who never dealt with that stuff will never truly understand me and the way i am, and life always proofed this to me. It is important though to not be fully consumed by sad content or exclusively consume it bc it definitely can lead u into a downwards spiral. Nowadays, i view sad content as something that i need sometimes to fully feel my emotions and process them, but not as the reality of life. For the people around me it‘s the same thing, we all learned that our negative emotions/view on life is a symptom of our mental illness and not something quirky.

19:35 - girl wtf are u yapping about? no one has ever referred to vietnamese people as non- asian? wtf are u smoking?? not once in my life have i ever heard someone say that vietnamese chinatown needs to be more asian. the actual fuck????? the only time ur silly example applies is if we are talking in reference to south west asian predominant communities, like indians i see that you mentioned the LA riots. can you also reference a riot where asian communitie(s) raided african owned stores and communities as well and then bragged about it decades later? because all i can find during the LA riots is inocent asians getting slaughtered by -those who must not be named in case im labelled a racist/bigot/fascist- black criminals and they proudly brag about it to this day. even kendrick lamar brags about how his dad robbed specifically innocent asian stores when he was a kid during the la riots. asian self hate is at an all time high and you are definitely helping to perpetuate it. model minority is a stupid ass term, sure. but NO WAY does it perpetuate anti-blackness. how fking stupid is this video and ur braindead audience?? ur the type of person to say that all lives matter is racist to black people like wut?? you and your black friend are unironically promoting BOTH black and asian racism with these uneducated videos. U PEOPLE R THE REASON WE HAVE A MARKET OF RACISTS THAT WOULD BUY AND PLAY ASSASSINS CREED SHADOWS.

This probably just the experience of all philosophers at heart who had to deal with the close mindedness of people while still being close minded but just a bit more self aware. For me at least, philosophy at University did the same thing as you described, it opened my mind up to a lot of things and funnily enough it distanced me a lot from politics.

The second interpretation of everyone potentially becoming homo sacer makes a lot of sense considering Foucault and Deleuze's analyses of biopolitics/biocapitalism. They are constantly talking about the potential reversal of the power relation (Foucault) and deterritorialization and reterritorialization of control (Deleuze). I always thought of a revolt in Foucault's case where the hegemonic pyramid of feudalism is reversed when the power of the masses suddenly decides to turn on the aristocracy. In Deleuze's framework it is more about the schizophrenia of late capitalism where systems and structures constantly break down and reorganize themselves. Since capitalism isn't ideological anymore (content neutral) you can take the submarine as an example: when it imploded the system was deterritorialized as efforts to save the millionaires no longer made sense and quickly a reterritorialization happened as discourse shifted towards the "quick death" they must have suffered. What life is "important" changes depending on the assemblage that holds in place at the time.
