    I agree, eastern europe would be the best part of the world to hire a dev. In my experience, people from Asia (esp. India, Pakistan) don't have an eye for detail, are clumsy. Again, in my experience. Those people had good reviews, but i had a difficult time with them. Never again. Sorry brothers, fix that!

    So here is where I'm confused. Steven starts his videos like some sort of successful app dev, mentions Wordle! etc. But here's the thing. Wordle! (notice the !) was only successful because it was confused by another developers web only game Wordle. Wordle went viral and people started looking for the app and came across Wordle! Money raised from Steven piggy backing off another devs success led to a mutually agreed donation to charity. If you check the App Store, Steven has just two apps (under his name), neither are successful of have great feedback. I'm calling BS on this users videos and would caution anyone following his "how too" guides. Unless you get lucky you're not going to make much revenue but will be spending out of UI designers, devs or no-code devs, etc.

    Don't even think about using Stripe Payments instead of Apple's native in-app payments if you don't want them to reject your app and even ban your account 😅 you can only do that when selling physical products, but ALL digital sales have to go through Apple. There's been a huge fight going on about this for the past several years, actually.

    Do you know how much it would cost me to do a ecommerce website app from scratch? Or do you think i should use a no code program like flutterflow to build my app?

    • @danialsadiq933
      @danialsadiq933 Před 2 dny

      Depends on the complexity of the ecommerce website. In 90 percent of cases you can do a no code website. There are many templates available for it. For no code you can get it built for $300 - $500. Coding it from scratch would cost at least $3000. I recommend going no end as a top notch website is not the "it" factor that makes your ecommerce successful but marketing, sales and branding. Save money with no code and spent the rest on what actually drive sales.

    • @stevencravotta

      Hard question to answer! It really depends on the complexities of the app you are trying to build. Start simple with an MVP to save $ on development and then make improvements / changes as you get feedback from users.

    Honestly, the way you talk makes you sound like a nightmare client and extremely unprofessional. I feel bad for your devs. There are no bug free apps. Withholding payment until it's uploaded is bad form. Software projects is not like building legos, solutions might not pan out and you as an owner should be paying them for the work they put in and not withhold payment when YOUR idea doesn't pan out. It's ridiculous, you're asking some guy to integrate an AI model - what if that model doesn't exist off the shelf and you have to come up with the training data? Is your dev going to spend a weeks and months training an AI and not get paid until it works to your satisfaction for the same money? Not to mention that a site like 99designs even exists, that's pure exploitation. Go look at some designers portfolios and PAY THEM for their designs...
