Love the journey, and you hooked me into subscribing with one video. I love your approach to the land and maximizing what you have already. I want to do this one day when I can afford to buy land, but sometimes it feels like a race against the clock of my working years. Hopefully we can both make it to the dream of a self sustainable farm, good luck!
Watching from Nepal 🇳🇵 thank you for sharing ❤
As I'm looking to buy land around Penamacor myself, and researching fire safety, I would love a video of mitigating fire risk with trees/plants. Also, aren't you guys scared of bush fires with those high weeds? Or can you manage to keep it really moist with your water systems? Really curious. Greetings from a fellow dutchie
Thanks for sharing 🎉😊
Wow that’s very thoughtful process 😮 so interesting ❤
Well, in my country, there is ZERO "abandoned land" BUT, my government has invited people from around the world to come, take turns safely parking your money here.....(and we'll even give you HUGE breaks on your property taxes(!!!)... 🤣🤣🤣🤔😟😱😭😭😭😭🇨🇦✌️
In thailand make small porn dig w4'd2-3' same level go around tree100-200' put pastic sheat the top both side same level cover by dirt fill full water put fish and water tree on water for fish live inside, you see some crip what i say in thailand mad many kind farm of animal give us egg meat shellfish catfish and did like homestead.
Love your work ... Good job ... Nice ..
Love it. It's an eye opener
great video, can i get some info about the big greenhouse, where its from pls?
How much money did this take?
Hey, love the video! Can I please ask where you bought your greenhouse? Not having any luck locating one that is as sturdy as yours. Would appreciate the info
Your vision, hard work, and your growing knowledge because of your efforts to transform this land are truly inspiring. Recognizing that you are not just an owner of the land, but more importantly, you are a steward of it is very wise. We should all follow your example by being stewards of our planet, our fellow humans, and all of the animal and plant life on earth. Whether we live in a cramped city apartment or in a wide open land, we are all part of this garden of Eden and we are all capable of helping it thrive in big or small measures. Our reward is living in our garden of Eden and being able to share in its bounty. I keep watching your videos just to remind myself of this.
Great job! Looks so wonderful!
adding some bee hives would work very well
Well done! I love how wild your plantings are in sum.
One of the success of your videos is showing the work process without saying a word. Good for you.
Very curious about how did u manage to bring city water connection and electricity.
Do you have to get permits to divert water?
I am crying this is so beautiful 😭😭
Please, I really need to know this: how did you guys get the permit for building a house in this rural area? I can't find an answer to that question.
Ik woon in je buurt en zoek al tijden naar een stevige poly-tunnel, waar heb jij hem gekocht?
Man, can't imagine the amount of satisfaction one can feel when they see the seed they planted slowly grow into a giant tree ❤❤❤
I really like the amount of information you put out. Good timing of how much info u put out. Awesome gardening Project
I found this story so inspiring I’m a 83 retired farmer and solute you for what you’re building in such harsh dry conditions hard conditions Best wishes to you all from Errol in South Africa. 😂❤
If you can get paw paws growing there you will be happy.....how about date palms [medjools yum] and how about chestnut trees [castanas]? Thanks for update. Despite drought and apparent [learning] setbacks, you have done an unbelievable job. I wish I could see it in person.
Must be nice to be able to afford to buy land. Even then, must be nice to have a government which respects those living off grid, instead of finding ways to screw them out of their land.
Nature is generous, when we treat it correctly...
Great pedagogy can be so silent. Thank you!
12:12 why do you put the hay ?
6:00 but how about the life (animals and/or plants) down the valley that won't get water after the dam is done?
why you use cardboard, bro?
Stops weed growth from coming through
effort always pays.congrtulations
I cannot for the life of me understand with my brain how you use that would thing to create a swell/berm. I know it works but my. Brain is trying to figure it out.
Thanks for sharing. I think the land most be deforestation first, with eucalyptus plant or another forest plant,,field grass, cover crops that would shade the land in the summer and keep rwater in the rainy season ... furthermore slowly shaping the food forest near swales & pond...😊
Thanks for the clear explanations... Financial & social isolation are the greatest challenges of Homestead living., have to mmediately find the right solutions. Especially financial challenges. Keep Fight... where there is a will, there is a way...😊
Interresting farming process, from wasteland, to road, pond, swales, campervan, fireplace, raisebed, and chickens...👍😊
Good Job...👍😊
Nice, but where are you actually living? You are in a camper or in the tipi. If yes are you planning to build a house? And do you have an ecocompost for faeces or a septic tank? Would be nice to hear about that in one of the next videos. Thanks and great job till so far!!
Nice job. I was wondering what you do to prevent another forest fire to spread? I remember from a visit to Portugal that they create corridors to prevent fire from spreading. Would be interested to hear if that is needed in your area or not. Thanks & groeten uit Nederland.
Please cut down any Eucalyptus trees. The leaves have a lot of oil in them and burn hot and fast. Climate change is making a lot more fires in Europe and Eucalyptus makes it so much worse. Eucalyptus has been declared a pest plant in many areas of the world.
Cool, I'll be trying this no dig method tomorrow.
Well done.

Vuile kuthippie 😘 Dit heb je prachtig gemaakt. Heel veel liefs voor jou en je gezin (en dieren en plantjes).
I loved this! AND I am so inspired to do it! My only concern is the living situation. How to cook, where to sleep, where to go to the bathroom and shower? Your yurt looking tent looks nice, but you also had a couple other tents. AND what did you use for power? I would love to know how to LIVE like this.
inspiring work guys, much love
I’m not sure that it’s great to use the solar panels as a form of bracing the solar panel supports, I would prefer to use independent bracing bars to firm those aluminium panel supports.
