Ted Lasso somehow made one of the most hilarious sports interview moments into one of the most scathing and cutting locker room moments in sports fiction.

This scene was the first one that showed Rebecca was actually a kind and decent person behind all that anger and resentment, that was clearly aimed at Rupert. Up to this point she came across as a nasty, hateful shrew that had set up Ted to fail. This showed there was a good heart in there somewhere, and her kindness grew from there.

That’s exactly how it feels. It’s out of nowhere with no warning. Your whole body tenses up, you become more aware of your breathing and heart rate. You feel and crazy and guilty

I give utmost respect to the writer. The show in my country is trash for the lack of good writing. This scene can easily be cheesy and doesn't maake sense, but they build ted's character one step after another beautifully. To he highlight, his own situation separated from his wife and son, make him understand rebecca's (is that her name, i forget) shoes.

I am so glad that they did not do the obvious and make them romantically involved. I loved that they were like best friends!

I believe, ted lasso writers used the Alan Iverson "practice" thing from an interview years and years ago. I could be wrong, but more times than not, Hollywood does put things into movies/tv shows like that sometimes...you just have to see/hear it to believe it.

I like that this show reminds everyone that ted is the coach, he may do things the guys dont like but you have to respect him and his authority. This scene was not only important for Jaimie to hear but also for the other guys, they dont habe to agree with Ted, but they have to respect his choices.

All right I'm gonna say it, Ted Lasso is the Fred Rogers of sports.

I'm 43, and this has been happening to me since I was 6 ... and I never understood it until I was in my late-20s ... the difference with me is, I actually faint - pass the fuck out - but I can feel it (I believe Epileptics call it an Aura) - and every time it has happened, I have told someone - sometime friends or family, sometimes random strangers in public- "I'm going to faint, I'm sorry to bother you, I need help..." - and WITHOUT FAIL, the person laughs, says *the EXACT SAME WORDS* ... "Ha... You're going to faint, huh??" ... and then 30-60seconds later, I wake up on the ground , not knowing where I am or what happened, and see a horrified face looking down going "OH MY *GOD* , YOU FAINTED!!!" ... Uhh.. Yeah... I tried to tell you ... and I know EXACTLY what Ted was going through there... I always try to "retreat" and GTFOutta there, so nobody sees it ... Maybe find a safe and secluded spot I can sit down before I go down etc. Actually watching The Sopranos helped a tremendous amount ... I thought I was the only human with that problem, seeing Tony have the same thing as me, and that it's a medical condition, made a huge help!

Coach Beard is the real star of Ted Lasso.

Rebecca was never a character you could truly hate. Hannah does such an amazing job portraying the feelings behind all the actions, you can understand the hurt. In fact, the more we see of Rupert (especially in season 3), the easier it becomes to side with Rebecca's relentless determination to hurt the pr*ck by any means necessary. This man hurts so many people, and when Rebecca had had enough of his abuse he doubled down on his behavior specifically to rub salt in her wounds. Nothing seems to phase him, except for football. Richmond is the one thing he cares about above all else, *until he decides to just buy another team.* You want to see this man get his comeuppance _so damn bad,_ but everything just seems to slide off him!
