    Hope you still have that guitar..it's become a collector the honey burst color is hard to find..I bought mine last year off Reverb paid $650.00 for it..and well worth it

    That second variation of the f sharp major where you have to barre and trill while barring is difficult. I have to rotate my barring finger a little to be able to play this and remember it always being muted when i first started playing this.

    The clean in the beginning sounded horrendous dude ... Made me look for another guitar. But was that the actual guitar, or perhaps an amp, or YOU?! 😅

      @minstrel9806 Před rokem

      I mean if you're looking for straty clean tones you should indeed look for another guitar. EMG81 and 85 can work for clean but are mostly suited for very overdriven tones.

    What gauge strings are on it in video? D'Addario 10-42? 11-42? New strings put on that day changed and tuned 1 string at time? Since many say taking all strings off, removing all 100-115lbs + depending on gauge screws up strings staying in tune for days. What are pickups Epiphone classic pro alnico 5?

    Nice vid man! The right rhythm really play s a big role in achieving that spicy fell.i can switch , alter pick those chord kinda "effortlessish"now 😅.but it just hard to get that wavy some sound,I just sound robotic .And BTW,I use jag too! How you mod your jag switches like that.its really dope 👍👍

      @@mksguitars7617 Hmm.... If its ok with you I can try suggesting some for lessons (maybe 3). Touche from Godsmack (there are some YT attempts but not a satisfactory, truthful to the album covers), You did a real nice sounding Symphony of Destruction from Megadeth (if you could do all parts better), and Get thru this from Art of Dying (if you could do Acoustic then Electric versions better); Drop B tuning. I know you can explain the elements of the song better than most...

    Nice demo brother , just got this 2 days ago and after some tweaking with the action it sounds great! I also have the cheaper version SG special and honestly the thing was a shit show as far as set-up. Had to replace the tuners immediately , they wouldn't hold tune at all. Anyways what a difference $250 makes on QC. I listed the special on craigslist , after receiving the 400 pro delux i have no use for the cheap one...

    Yes, a difficult guitar riff acknowledged by all. According to @Paul David’s the bpm is around 104 to 108, fast in 4/4 time with 2nd and 4th beats accented, triplet semiquavers followed by three semiquavers ! This gives the piece a nice percussive, syncopated backbeat 👍. That’s 5 notes in a single beat. STRICT ALTERNATE PICKING , D, U, D, U etc is the only way to pull it off with a very relaxed right hand wrist action. Otherwise it all goes out of time. You play D, D, D and then Up which makes it more difficult 🤔😢Did you get up to speed with your picking?🤔

    • @mksguitars7617
      @mksguitars7617 Před 3 lety

      I still play it D,D,D up and after about a year of practice I can play it full speed. Definitely made it more difficult for myself but I got so used to playing it that way it became muscle memory.

    A scarf joint ar neck makes it stronger and doesn't affect resonance. But not all guitars, even gibson , don't resonate well. The one that do are great guitars.

    In the vid it looks like not one piece, but a mahogany veneer on the back, as it doesn't appear to match the bevels...that could be camera perspective though, but I have seen this to be evident on some other G400s.
