It is an ugly house, if you watch the corners exactly, you will see a very bad finishing. In addition the view is trouble.i think , it is too expensive for the 45k and it is not worth it.

My brother and I are doing something similar. We bought our first international property last year in the Algarves. It's a huge historic house that we plan to split into 3 T2 and 2 T1. Looking forward to seeing how the building Foguete turns out.

This is needed in Italy. Many of the locations the expats are moving and towns going extinct do nit have medical services. Maybe attracting Nurses and physicians from the States. Italian may be easier to learn that some languages. A couple years of immersion would be enough. The language training could begin before going over there. We have lots of foreign medical staff coming over here, too. Many Spanish speakers. Italian would not be a leap to learn. It’s just interesting. The aging population in Italy is in need of gerontology medical professionals. If you are currently in the medical field and want to try this, you need to go in with several other medical and business advisors. May be a better idea if a person is already a nurse or physician.

Good information. Do you speak or understand Italian? I have a working understanding of French (it’s been 30 years since college minor) I understand a little Italian and it seems like the people may be more patient with those eager to learn quickly. Their culture and language is so important to them and perhaps they are encouraging the preservation of it and their beautiful language. After all, Rome and the other cities were melting pots of all kinds of people from far and wide. I love the idea of diversity of people revitalizing and caretaking these treasures. I would like to see the buildings be renovated as closely to the original as possible. But those materials may be hard to find or too expensive to be practical. Looking to retire in a few years and Italy would be nice. We spend 3 months there 20 years ago and could see living there 6 months out of the year, perhaps lending my skills to help the locals stay in place.

SPAIN <3 Because I feel Italians oftentimes have some sort of social hierarchy which I find , to be honest, a bit exhausting. In Spain, you can live a more independent life. Although I really do love the warmth of Italians, I couldnt live there long-term. Also, Spain sometimes reminds me a bit of California which I really love so to me it was a compromise to go to Spain because I couldnt afford studies in California as an international student. Now, its home. For English speakers, be aware, its harder to speak English in Spain than in Italy. My experience is that Italians would not refuse to speak English with you if they are able to speak it.

Spot on. The passport bros have been panicking because they know exactly what they are doing. Last time we went to Colombia we brought our 2 year one and not once did we feel unsafe. The neighbors were friendly. I dentist the family uses gave me a second opinion on some dental work and I got a 4 dollar x-ray. It was great. These guys are going down there trying to look flashy because they can't afford that lifestyle in the US. But you would never go into a rough neighborhood looking flashy in the US so why would you do it in a foreign country?

They are their neighbors. Sicily is right next to Africa. Italy & Africa has a strange & exotic relationship, rather people want to admit it or not.
