This system is absolute rubbish very heavy and under powered struggles to get through waves would not recommend at all
lol what are you on about mate. if it was any faster you could not even keep up tracing it. watch the video, did you not see how fast it pulls those sinkers out. i have a 30lb seahorse thats half that power, smashes through 1.5m set face with ease
Coaster yeah mate your right, it's not underpowered, you just need to keep the line tight so the motors got something work with. Some people will throw the kontiki in the water and expect it to go out straight, that's not what happens, it will only get pushed back by the force of the waves.I have a GPS Seahorse 46 Thrust, but the 30 thrust will work well if it's in good hands and the line is tight. Angela Dillon-Jarvis we have one too at it seems to be a lemon. out of interest what parts are you trying to source. we have wondered if the problem with ours is the batteries.

to bad it didnt work like that on the sea my one should be yellow cause its a lemon been in for repairs more than ive used it
same here. never had a successful run out of it. always washes up, doesn't have the guts to get past the breakers. was going to try new batteries for it but sounds like you've had the same problems?
