I got this same motor this past feb. Finally been using it. Soon I will need to do the 20hr oil, filter etc change. One thing i am trying to figure out though is how the heck to get the filter past that red wire above it, mine is super tight against it and I will probably have to take whatever that s off just to get a oil wrench around it. Did you experience any issues with this? What exactly is the red wire to? I took the cap off and it looked like it was just covering a nut. My 4 stroke 150 merc dont seem to have it ?

The electric knife will take that fillet off the skin a lot easier using it the same method as you’re using your fillet knife.

I always laugh at guys that use striped bass gear for a trout u can catch with a trout set up, wow boys u need a 15 lb. Trout to even have a fight

I have had my ulterra salt water 80 lb with self deploying remote for two years with no issues, until last few weeks, it turned to be so many issues . Such as not deploy nor stoving that forced me to do an emergency stove. Later last week, it could deploy or stove, but shaff just a foot from base and remote said Motor Error. Because of this, I follow procedure of reset by triple click on power button, after this press red and green light are blinking but nothing happen. I am really desperate and disappointed my 25K outcome.

Great video, Especially the nerve string. Never seen that in all my years. One thing I aways do that creates a much cleaner piece of meat in my opinion, is to cut both gills and bleed them out them out in the water before I fillet them. Meat is cleaner and there's no bloody mess while cleaning. You can knock them out first. But they won't bleed out if they've been dead a while. It's best while alive. Try it.
