This is a cover for the theme music of the epic 2001: A Space Odyssey. Technology has advanced since then, and the sounds have gotten much better. Enjoy.
How She Got Away Created in GarageBand
zhlédnutí 8Před 3 lety
You can see the tracks laid out in GarageBand for this composition. I'd consider this a soft rock genre made with arpeggios and a simple repeating melody with some harmonic and rhythmic variations through several different instruments.
How She Got Away

Music composed based off a single melody with added variations including use of arpeggios with a limited note selection, drums, and synth.

How to make thicker, more comfortable ear pads for Sony MDR-7506 Headphones
zhlédnutí 37KPřed 10 lety
This is a quick do-it-yourself hack for making your headphones just a little more comfortable by making the padding feel thicker. This is specifically for the Sony MDR-7506 headphones, but could work for any similar headphones.

Its amazing how to me and a lot of people these are the clearest sounding headphone they have tried considering that they were first made in 1991 HAHAHA. I have tried so many headphones and ear buds out their and even with some custom equalization settings these are the clearest. These are great for audiophiles who don't want extreme bass. You need to make them more comfortable if you want your ears not to hurt from wearing these for a long time and this is a great easy trick to make them more comfortable. BTW if you want true high quality audio use Vox player on a computer instead of iTunes. Vox player plays stuff way way way more clear than iTunes plus the equalizer plus audio units can make it sound amazing. I would not recommend using these in public and use for home only though because they leak so much sound and you should find some with less sound leakage for use outside your house.

omg this works great on my ~$35 sheepskin replacement ear pads, the plastic is no longer rubbing on and hurting my ears. the original ear pads will eventually disintegrate, a quality sheepskin replacement is a good choice IMO. also be careful about buying extra thick replacement pads. other people online have said that they degrade the sound/volume too much.

In my opinion this mod have very little to do with better comfort and a lot to do with better sound stage as there is now more space between ear and driver. At least this was a result for my on Superlux HD330 +beyerdynamic velor pads.

You need to update your title and add the Sony MDR-7510 this solved my problem and there is no after market ear pads for these useless things, I can't believe Sony would sell a $150 USD headphones and the foam is so soft that the hard plastic inside rubs against your ears and hurts like hell after a while. Wasted a couple hours trying to find aftermarket deeper pads but they don't make them for the 7510, but your idea seems to work except I had to use thicker rope to get the hard plastic away from my ears. Thanks for posting the video you saved me $65 Canadian with postage to order something hoping I could make it work, my only other option was return the headphones and get the next model down and then buy the aftermarket pads. BTW I watched the ad for you and it was a premium skippable auction ad so you got my 2 cents worth

Worked flawlessly on Sennheiser HD 280 Pros. I was about to cough up $25 for a third-party set of thicker ear pads to replace the brand new original pads, because my ears pressed against the inside of the headphones. Serious thanks for the creative suggestion.

Yep legit! Nice video! I took Mikel's lead and did it with an ethernet cable since I had an extra one. It helps a ton! I think I will do it with rope or something softer when I get it. I might use a slightly thinner rope though
