This was an excuse pick, in the current league you need two bonafides and role players. The Hornets have the hard part done with LaMelo and BMill. I don’t understand the reason not to pick a ready made player.

Big fan, we need some youth size that could move. I love it. Lamelo ball, Brandon Miller, miles bridges, salaun, mark Williams. Second unit: Tre Mann, Nick smith jr, Cody Martin, grant Williams, Nick richards. Vasilji micic, Seth curry, leaky black, bertans. I think we should move bertans, Cody Martin, and free up some space to pick up some vets at the smf, power forward positions. I’m tired of people saying we don’t have a playoff contenting teams….. we don’t have a play off contending bench*, or a play off contending defence*. This Salaun pick just helped out our problem big time and I’m happy with the pick. Let grant Williams come in with the second unit as an enforcer, another coach on the floor establishes a second wind in our game. Having grant come off the bench would be huge in alleviating pressure for tre Mann, micic, Nick smith, and Nick richards. It would create a really good balance in play styles allowing the first unit to play fast and in transition with youth of mark Williams Salaun and miles bridges controlling the paint and back court, and allowing Lamelo and Brandon Miller time and space to create offense … create a dominant personality, because Lamelo and Brandon Miller are elite potential allstars.

I called the Tidjane Salaun pick weeks ago right here in Iocked on Hornets. He has rhe teo intangibles I said every team needs to focus on: Basketball IQ & Mamba mentality/MJ killa instinct/dawg/Passion. And we get the added high motor & athleticism that Ron Holland has. I remember fans going mad crazy about not pucking Scoot while I saud Miller is the man. Now we know Tidjane is the next Giannis but with a higher ceiling. Most importantly, we now have a coaching staff that can nurture this asset.

This kid grew an inch and gained 12 pounds between the time he was drafted and the time Branson went through his height and weight.
