No on these vehicles they did not come with hydraulic clutches they had cable clutches that pulled a clutch Fork

The first thing i would do is an 8.8 gt rear end, then lowering springs ... and if u have a manual, get a short shifter and stronger clutch, then after that, turbocharge it.

Yes, it can, but I'd recommend an upgraded valve body and torque converter .... as for the turbo kit me and my friends and I made it.

Yes it was still reliable and daily drivable but I choose not to because you know with that amount of power in the rain and all that kind of stuff is not good and it's a purpose built car and plus this is a very old video and it's way way faster now it going to be Plus in this video there was a lot of wheel spin and the clutch cable and clutch Fork had a huge problem which is why the late reaction is Shifting it's not actually 5 seconds it's about 4.2 0 to 60 at that time

@@Skystang_Turbo_V6_Mustang damnnn well I guess it is faster than the gt definitely cheaper than buying a new gt but yea that’s too much for me rn I’ll probably start with basics cold air intake exhaust headers tune but before I do any of that I need a new transmission lbs bought used one for 300 fluid was already black drives perfectly fine until I started stretching gears out for 3 days straight so I just cruise for now everyone tries to raceme still though lol

Wow, nice ... i have a custom-made 4.2L billet crankshaft and a custom-made billet main caps with the center caps having 4 bolts tapped into the sode of the block with all arp hardware 1/2" for the mains and 3/8" for the side load. And also a custom billet girdle.

@@Skystang_Turbo_V6_Mustang nice man I figure scats cast steel would be fine for the 4.2 crank. I'm sure a custom spun crank, if you can even find someone to do it, would cost an absolute fortune well in the thousands. Most of my money is wrapped up in head work and valve train. If you want to run anything more than a 135lb spring (ls springs) you have to mill the spring perch and that gets pricy. But 135lb spring will not support the boost needed to make what we want lol.

Also I know my machinist had absolute hell finding keepers and we ended up just running a different keeper style when we ordered with manley, restricted us to a flat valve with no option for tulips. I'd planned on it anyways though sense the split ports already have the velocity in the design

Yes it was very expensive but I think it's all worth it in the end to get to a thousand wheel and I know what you mean by the spring perch I've done the same thing but I'm running a 160 lb Springs with titanium spring perches

No, it actually was at the time of this video. i just installed a new clutch and flywheel for a 5.0 with a prototype tr3650 from gforce transmission custom fabbed to work with a quick time Pro Bell housing, mgw shifter, custom aluminum drive shaft and a steeda shift kit ... well, everything went great but we found out quickly that there was binding issues with the cable and stock shift ford and the only way to fix it is to get a shorter one and luckily lakewood make one and this was the cure! If watch the video of me racing the c6 vette that was after it was fixed.
