I enjoy your channel mates...however, there are too many moments that need the background scenarios behind the epic turn of events. Especially the baseball ones. At 10:50...this was the 1988 World Series depicting Kirk Gibson's epic at-bat in game one. You'll have to do some homework on this one... The next one is at 13:50. I think was the 1951 NY Giants vs Brooklyn Dodgers for the NL Pennant. The Giants were many games in back of the Dodgers that year but came up with a miraculous comeback to tie and force a one-game playoff for all the barbles and the right to go on to the World Series. Broke the hears of the Dodgers faithful.

9:59 the context for this one is the Arizona Diamondbacks were only in their 4th season of existence and they made it not only to the World Series, but took the most successful team in baseball 7 games and then won with a bottom of the 9th walk off at home.

Tammy calling Coach an idiot for the blanket thing with Saracen is one of my favorite lines in the whole series. Just the way she delivers that line is brilliant. I can't remember if I read it somewhere or heard it in an interview or podcast, but Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton hit it off so well after their first meeting that they decided to drive from LA to Texas together as a caravan and bought walkie talkies to they could talk to each other while driving.

Lucas oil stadium wanted to do something like Ford Field and achieved that. I have them close in rankings. They were both Midwest cities who wanted to take a tired area of downtown and revitalize it. Both were successful. There was a push in the early 2000s to have stadiums downtown. Not everyone could do this though.

Hi guys, HUGE series fan from the first time watching this show from its original airing in the U.S. I'd already seen the Billy bob Thornton Original movie when I heard the director of that Peter Berg had developed the series.. It was actually a struggle to keep this series on the air after originally getting put into second place at NBC and lower than expected ratings at the same network from their other Series premiere that year HEROES. Series 3 was going to be it's last season before the now infamous Keep the Lights on fan campaign where ppl actually sent lightbulbs into the network...it was noticed and the groundwork was there for the on-demand network Direct TV to greenlight and final two seasons with reduced episode count.... However it did bring new talent to the roster... Fun fact Under Armor gained a foothold in sponsorship of the series and supplying uniforms and equipment for the series....

Y'all video box blocked out our view of Schumacher so I can't tell what he's wearing which would probably better peg the year. 7:10 - This was TJ Oshie (then of the Blues, now of the Capitals) in the EIGHTH round of the shootout during the group stage of the 2014 Olympics in Sochi. Olympic hockey group stage games go straight to a 3 round shootout if tied after regulation and they also allow shooters to repeat after the third round so Oshie took the first shot and scored and then took shots 4 through 8, scoring 3 of those five times while the Russians alternated using Ilya Kovalchuk and Pavel Datsyuk. Oshie was not very well known at the time but became a legend, at least to me for this performance. 7:27 - It's actually Althea Gibson. 7:44 - The black power protest of Tommie Smith and John Carlos at the 1968 Olympics. Nicknamed the Shot Heard 'Round the World (the same nickname of the first shots of the American Revolutionary War) it was Bobby Thompson's game winning home run in the final game of the three-game playoff to determine 1951 National League champion. The Giants were big underdogs and would lose in 6 to the Yankees in the World Series but it was a huge moment in a fierce local rivalry that goes back to the beginnings of the National League and continues to be fierce long after the 2 moved to California. 14:22 - The Prayer at Jordan-Hare. Would have been the greatest moment of Auburn's season if not for the Kick 6. Yes. They were the same season. 20:01 - This was the Saints first game back in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. They played a few home games at LSU as the Superdome was being repaired. This was a big healing moment for the team and the city and they even made a statue of this block outside the stadium. 22:10 - This was 2014 but they only made the second round although they did take Belgium to the brink during the game that saw Tim Howard crowned the US Secretary of Defense. 2002 was when they made the quarterfinals and lost 1-0 to Germany after we were the better team for a large portion of the game and a US shot was batted off the line by the outstretched arm of German Torsten Frings but the ref didn't see it. To Damo's point though, both 2010 with the Donovan goal and 2014 also helped garner attention for the team more because of how they played than how far they got. 35:24 - Former NC State head basketball coach Jim Valvano (Jimmy V) accepting the first ever Arthur Ashe Award for Courage at the first ever ESPN Espy Awards in 1993. Drop everything you're doing and watch it now and then read a story about it for any further context.

Guys, I'm very impressed with your knowledge. I've seen you all from just about the beginning of your channel. Being able to recognize all the plays, players, moments, etc. is awesome. 23:22 This was from the 1987 IIHF World Junior Championships. It was a brawl known as the Punch-up in Pestany, in what was then still part of Czechoslovakia. Many players on the ice for both Canada and the Soviet Union were involved in this. As a result of this, both teams were disqualified from the tournament. It's quite the bizarre story if you want to read further into this incident.

22:41 This was from a 1979 game between the Boston Bruins and New York Rangers. Things got so out of hand, a few players climbed into the stands to fight with a few fans. Boston's Terry O'Reilly is who you see climbing up a few rows. Also from that same brawl, Mike Milbury took a spectator's shoe off and hit him several times with it.

For San Jose, there’s an airport very close to the stadium, which probably has something to do with the open stand. Also, they don’t invest in their team so they rarely sell out. They’re probably seeing it as there is no necessity to expand. It would just make light crowd look even thinner.

Hello Fellas, at Minute 7:27, the FEMALE Athlete you are looking at is Athea Gibson. She was the first African American to win a grand slam tournament (French Open 1956) 12 years before Arthur Ashe. The Next Black Woman to achieve this would be Serena Williams 43 years later. I understand that no one can know all historical facts and people, but it's not okay not to know visually to see the difference between a Black Man and a Black Woman.
