SouthLight Healthcare restores lives and renews hope to those in our community healing from addiction and mental illness. SouthLight has been a trusted provider of quality outpatient substance use and mental health treatment in the Triangle area for more than 50 years.
SouthLight’s core values include empowering each individual journey by building skills needed to provide the foundation for sustained recovery regardless of ability to pay. Every year our work helps transform the lives of nearly 7,000 individuals and families in the Raleigh area, over half of which are uninsured.

Substance Use and Mental Health Services
SouthLight provides behavioral health services for those living with mental health and/or substance use disorders. We serve individuals with mild mental health and substance use disorders, all the way to those with severe substance use disorders and mental illness.
We also offer individual as well as group counseling, and our services are based both in our office(s) and out in the community. We meet you where you are, and we can connect you with a peer who has experience in recovery, and they will walk alongside you on your journey.
Additionally (and in an effort to better serve you), we now offer evening hours for opioid treatment.
