Hello Ashish, as a beginner which one should I start first either HLD or LLD? Which one would you recommend ?
I really appreciate that you explained the details so well â€
can you tell me the question solving procedure in details, like how many questions do you solve in a day(what is the target amount of questions you set). how do you approach a question, if you're not able to solve the question do you make notes. How much time to spend on a particular question before looking for solution/tutorial. When you asked for the 1.5 months to prepare for the coding interview, what set of questions you're picking. Thank you for sharing your journey

[Google employee and a past GSoC mentor, at the time of writing this comment] TL;DR Both a Google internship and GSoC are great opportunities, but try to get a Google internship first, if you can't that, then try your shot at GSoC. GSoC does not directly lead to a job or interview at Google since it is not an official internship. Google interns work at Google, receive employee perks, and have a streamlined path to full-time positions, usually requiring 2-3 additional interview rounds. GSoC involves contributing to open-source projects, often with non-Google organizations. Although GSoC experience is valuable, securing a job at Google afterward is challenging and independent. Exceptions exist if the GSoC project is with Google (like my GSoC mentees), which might lead to referrals but still requires the full interview process. However, the experience, connections you build with the industry and other GSoC interns can immensely help your career later, plus the pay is great (in India, it's comparable to a Google internship).
I would then just want to know how did you get hired because they all the time tell me you don't know react ? We can't hired you
Informative content
thank you đ

Show your first resume that you used to apply for first job/internship offcampus then talk to me . Stop sharing these gimmicks
Hi Ashis, how much time a beginner might take to have enough skills in beginner and medium level programming language? Although it depends on person, I'm just wondering to get a rough idea.
But the IT companies expect us to know all the syntax and internals of a language. They are very demanding while conducting the interview. They need us to know all the topics in a language such as multithreading interface abstraction encapsulation Bean class algorithms DSA SQL networking and more. It is really disheartening and frustrating to attend an interview. đą
That's true. I always tell such interviewers that I don't remember the syntax or command. But give me a task I will do it anyhow. PS: they don't come back again. đ
Sir why not u make a complete series on system design form basic to advanced courses, that will be really helpful .
