really nice tone, and look at that right hand angle! Is his right hand a bit more angled than average? I'm thinking for an amusing comparison of Segovia's right hand being in an almost opposite position! I've seen people curving the right hand but Bianco's seems to be curved more. Maybe it's an optical illusion and I'm just noticing the absence of tension in his right forearm. His arm is really resting on that guitar. Thank you very much for the lesson!

"It's all about preference and taste" - no, it's not. There are objective markers concerning the technical capabilities (especially being able to play precisely and in tempo, independent if you do it or not), and many professional guitarists are not very good at it. They cannot give the impression that it sounds "easy" and "naturally". Of course, if you have a bunch of musicians being able to do this, then it's personal preference which one you like most. In other instruments, the technical abilities of players are in average much, much higher (e.g. piano), my interpretation of this phenomen is that piano is simply a more easy to learn instrument and/or the education on it is better.

I saw Segovia play at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in 1972. He waited for the audience to quiet down, and when he still heard the rustle of the paper programs, he looked up and stared until the rustling stopped. Then, confident the room was completely quiet, he began to play completely unamplified. I will never forget this night. The guitar filled the huge room as people allowed him to be heard with complete and utter respect for the great maestro.

Absolutely wonderful video. It was about time to see this kind close look at the best guitarist in the world. Yamashita is above and beyond , as a guitarist I was always questioning why was he not understood and propelled to higher tiers in the classical guitar world. Oh, perhaps because he is Asian and not Spanish (I am spaniard). With all due respect the Romeros are no match to this guy, even though they criticize Yamashita to death ( in a bad way).

It happens to me too: if I keep my wrist in its natural position (which means a little bent), and I leave my fingers relaxed, in fact the first part of the nail that touches the string is the right one. But I learned to play with the left side because all the teachers say to do it that way. Now, however, thanks to this video, I feel freer to explore new possibilities, perhaps more suited to my hand. So thank you! For me it is a great discovery.

So many lost decades! How I wish this treasure trove of beautiful multimedia resources had been available when I took beginning classical guitar lessons as a misguided teenager! The total absence of proper foundations and guidance by morose teachers, the complete disconnection with the tradition, the artists, the history, and the repertoire by these pseodopedagogues contributed to my abandonment of the instrument. I will never know what progress I could have made with some enlightened and caring mentoring. Thanks for these!
