im a year late to this point but what is happening here is that the voxels of dirt lose their value as they fall. so when you dig from the bottom you end up collecting the same amount of dirt but you destroy the value of some of the voxels in it that hold the gold value. it might look nice but its hard work for getting gold.

U need to pan more, not so much when ur just panning a bucket u just filled with a shovel, but when it come to panning those hog matts, ur not getting all your gold out, i was getting around 2 onces of gold per 4 matts, and you only got like .7

Anyone else started shaking their head in disbelief like myself, after the second the video started, they clicked with their mouse because he was on the start screen and it's now just habit to do that and also write incredibly long run on sentences????????

I don't mind seeing a little bit of everything (digging, repairs, cleanouts etc). I like it when creators express or explain their thought process about why they choose to do things a certain way or what plans they have for the future. Another great episode.

Catching up on the series, and it's been great. What an incredible season you had. Those were a lot of hours in the hog pan area, glad to hear you didn't go crazy, lol. On my save the price of gold was also $1237 the last couple of days before perma. I believe those are the best days to buy and sell stuff. It's good to know. I see why your gold amount did not change on the leaderboard. You have been hording your buckets

Upgrades people upgrades . . . There is an a active section of dirt, so as long as you keep it active you can dig without it freezing. You can also change your camera angle and it will go away for a while.

I say do whatever you enjoy doing. The content is better when you are having fun. Falling in that hole would have been one hell of a way to finish things off.

It's good to see you back. Glad you kicked the flue quick. If it makes you feel better, I took 2 days off because I started to feel burnt out. You forgot to refill the bulldozer. It was low on fuel.

When you're having trouble reaching a hook because you're too high, just crouch. I don't remember what the default button for it is.

Lol, congrats man. You and old gaming are quick with switching those mats. They piss me off so much, I'm always dropping them and missing the trey.

I decided to run a test myself. I made 2 save files of the same game and dug out the same square. I did one full clean out on each file. The file where I dug from the bottom was 183.72, and the file I dug from the top was 282.53. Also, the one that I dug from the bottom of the square was nearly gone, but the one from the top, I could probably get another clean out from it. That square was supposed to get richer as you got deeper according to the drill results.

I think you're losing a lot of gold diging from only the bottom. I think the game fills your bucket, and anything left it the row that you just dug out and couldn't fit gets deleted. I know that's how it works with the front-end loader anyway.
