So what you just confirmed is that BLACK PEOPLE create the diversion that we have been battling for ever is the fault of light skin and then you say darker women are somehow closer to GOD than a lighter black woman? So what are you saying to lighter less melanated but melanated still BLACK WOMEN ? Your message should be to identify with the root of the problem and educate a solution , that we are BLACK, not contradicted what loving blacks are. You can’t crucify what’s already risen , what you can do is crucify the oppressors and teach your black “woke” people how to love the African in them and teach your European people, had they not left the mother land they would not have lost the melanin and mutated into what we see today. Come run your mouth with me, this light skin, green eyed, red head, black woman!

So all of a sudden everything changes because tht person became lighter skinned overnight? So what's gonna happened when the person returned to dark skin?? Fall out of love or wait until their skin returned light/white again?? MADNESS!!!!!!...😢😢😢... 😮😮😮

I’m just going to keep it real.. although Melinda & Quadyr should acknowledge their blackness I understand what they’re saying… The black community is really rough on each other but no one wants to address that.. all of the worst bullying I’ve had in life came came from black people.. Black Culture is pretty toxic overall.. don’t be too smart, speak too well, or want more for yourself.. otherwise, your “acting white”.

I am native american and I am dark complected I love the darkness of my skin. But I don't know why during the summer time when I get too much sun I get darker but it's like we have a orange tint to our skin I don't know if other nationalities have it but it's weird 🤣 I would tell my children I feel like one of the Muppets

THATS ON THEM.

Side note, where I'm from the biggest group of people that come in to my country from another, it's Filipinos. In my 53 years never heard one Filipino bring up this subject. They are also the least violent , hardest working and friendliest group in my country. This topic was most likely put forth by a white liberal. As Malcom X said, wolves in sheep's clothing. FILOPINOS DONT IDENTIFY AS VICTIMS.

This is accurate. I’m black and Filipino and even in the US, my Lola would do things to keep our skin light. Like the products and even straightening our hair when my mother (who’s black) said not too.

Well to tell you truth lighter skin just looks better that’s just how we were programmed. Lighter skin means less sun exposure which in terms means less hard labor. I grew up around so many family members that would inject substances just to get whiter skin and they out there broke but still has time for themselves because they deserve it. They work their ass off for pennies and if it makes them feel better I say go for it, I know it looks like they pushing their main problems away but in all honesty aren’t we all.

Don't take the words of activists as the words of regular folks. I doubt Filipinos or Hispanics want to be drawn into the obsession with race by African Americans and liberal Whites. Browns and regular Whites are quite satisfied with the variety of skin colors we have in the US.
