Have you heard any other horror stories about This gun? Cause i have the 22LR and everytime id Fire it, the casing would get stuck in the barrel and id have to get a stick just to remove it out.. i just dont want something to blow up in my face other than that i could deal with it.

Have the G2 111 9 mm and a G2C 40 and a 709 and 740 slim and 3 pt738 380, have not ever had any problems with them, also a 40 and 45 acp millennium pro DS and a 357 magnum and a 327 magnum revolver, have all been great 💯👍👍👍👍 Taurus ♉ and I will keep buying Taurus, also have Smith& Wesson 40 and Glock 33 gen3 pistol and 29 gen3 and several 1911a1 in 45 acp , 45 acp is a good choice for close up CQB/CQD (close Quarters Defense) plenty of power and lower chances of collateral damages, one of my favorite caliber options for this purpose 🤠 and 9 mm and lower for back up, Also forgot to add,,,,have at least two spare magazines for semi auto pistols and speed loaders for revolvers minimum, but more is always better 🤔

I know that this video is 9 years old, but if your Hi-Piont C9 or any of your Hi-Point side arms dry fires, you have a major issue, the Hi-Point does not dry fire or fire at all without the magazine being in the weapon, so it is advised by the manufacturer not to take the weapon apart, but to send it back to the registered service company to have any of your Hi-Point fire arms service or any repairs, this is what I have been told by Hi-Point

I know this is an older video but I just came across it . I started following you back in the C9 days . Great video with great ideas. I picked up a New England Firearms single shot 20 gauge back in the mid 90s . Throughout the years I have done closely the same things. Just did not cut it down .

There have been some questions on what glue to use on the rubber buffer. Super glue is about the best for rubber. You can test it by gluing two pieces together and try to pull it apart. The rubber will rip before the glue fails. Wash it with acetone, clean the paint off before gluing it. Also clean the rubber. I haven’t done it yet to my hp22a but have used super glue on highly stressed rubber parts where I work.

Polymer vs steel. Poly wins? I've got a CZ 75 SP-01 and a CZ 75 SP-01 Phantom. Difference, polymer vs steel frame. Polymer for going out and steel for trips of longer duration. I've got two Kahrs, one is a polymer and the other isn't. I still prefer the all stainless K9 over the lighter polymer.

I bought mine 8 years ago for $425 so prices must have dropped. This weapon is highly accurate but it's bulky and feels heavy to carry in my Kydex holster. I don’t like the grip safely at all. I bought it for it's high capacity. I also have a M&P Shield 9mm which is lighter and better for EDC but lower capacity. If i were to buy another gun I would buy a Shield Plus 9mm. It wasn't available 8 years ago, however.

Wow, I remember that Boo Dad guy buying our grips, stealing the design, making bootleg copies, and selling them under his own name. We had to put a stop to it back then. Can't believe I haven't stumbled upon this video before now. Several people did that over the years. We have a file full of documentation for each time it's happened over the years. If you still have that pistol and want to try out something new, we have dozens of different materials that can be used to make grips for the Hi-Point models. As much as people put the C9 down, I never had an issue with mine. It isn't something I'd want to cary every day due to the weight, but I have to say, it goes bang every time the trigger is pulled, just like my 995 carbine, and the new YC9 that I ended up buying as an inexpensive suppressor host.

Flex seal on the spring will fix problem for that.....ps. light coats & oil inside mag ...👍🏾

Sharing this here and other vids: this fix does work, but if you get a HP carbine DON'T do this on the carbine mags. The feed angle is flatter in the carbine so the lips need to stay narrow to keep the nose down. Great vid for the C9 mag tho, works like a charm.

When I got one of these and look closely at it I couldn't believe I actually said this is better quality than a Glock I think the Glock is a better firearm but this thing is a a plus for machining work

Why do you guys ride your thumbs so high when shooting, ive never understood that method because it causes all the malfuntions..im a right handed shooter so my right hand thumb sits on my middle index finger, my left hand cups my right hand with part of my left palm pushing under the magazine and left thumb touching the bottom of my right thumb..it works perferct for me..good review tho, i have this as one of my guns, its just cool looking, and it works..abd yes, i would trust my life with it, if it was the only gun i owned..👍

My m200 I pulled every apart sand/polished all the guts cleaned and added a little grease and oil closed it up and it surprised me how nice it feels. Main thing I looked at was how things moved and made contact with and how sharp/rough it felt. Used 400&600 grit paper,add oil for final polish
