Update, fixed quadra-lift suspension level for larger tires

Follow up to my first video of my 2017 Jeep grand cherokee with quadra-lift suspension. I cut the factory quadra-lift suspension rods. The slightly shorter rods provide a 1/2 inch lift to the normal ride height. My only cost was metal glue.

Video quality is poor. This is the factory settings right out of the box using the SD card they provided. It's in beginner mode and that was the max altitude and distance it would allow us. The front sensors didn't seem to work as it almost hit me and the front of my SUV. Wish it had some audio.
Did you change you change your structs?

I have a 2018 Loredo 2wd, 2.5” lift and putting 32 tires on. You think I can still take it in sand or mud or trails without too many issues?
Only issue you may have is 2wd.
Are the batteries interchangeable between the 2 drills/drivers? Can the Max batt be using in the Max XR tools and vice versa?

Looks good, I just put taller tires on my grand , installing 265 65 18 landspyder AT tires on mine and I absolutely love them. They have a really aggressive tread pattern

Ya I sold it back the dealership. Cfmoto.ca and I weren't seeing eye to eye. I'm forbidden to saw why and can't buy a cfmoto again for 5 years. I really do prefer my polaris. Service is awesome. Quality of product is much better.

Good comparison of specs. Maybe show a clearer close up of the RPMs at the back of the box. Another difference on this XR is the stamp with the US flag which indicates that the product is assembled in the US with globally sourced material as opposed to being completely assembled in another country. This is the closest you will get to "Made in USA".

I think they will however I'm not 100% sure. Definitely not on 2021 model as they made changes.

With the 32" tires, have you had any axle problems? Clutching I'm sure. I just bought a z950 and looking for bigger tires. Just curious how the axles take to the bigger tires.
The larger tires are fine for the axels. I did not have any issues. The clutching did pose to be a problem but I'm not sure if it was the tires or a coincidence that the clutch bearing seized, melted my weights and caused my belt to blow. I replaced everything and changed the clutch spring to C1 and things were okay. I have recently sold my zforve 950 and purchased a new 2021 rzr xp 1000 high lifter. I love it.
Looks good. How much noise do those tires make in that size. I have them on my renegade for 2 years and they are terrible at 32-38 mph. Trading in renegade for a 2017 wk2 overland.
Thanks. The tires are made of hard rubber and are loud on highways. They work great off-road so I put up with it. But I don't think I would recommend them if you are doing allot of driving. And you can't go wrong with overland model. Very nice.

Yes. The batteries fit into each other.
I'm looking at running a similar setup and was wondering if you think a 0 offset would change the amount of rub in the front?
The zero offset may help. I'm not not sure.

this is timless classic design, even at this age still one of the best looking suv's ,bought my grand cherokee in 2019 altitude, lots of people told me that i'm fucked in the head for buying a jeep...turns out to be the best new vehicle I ever owned.lol.2021 still fucking loving my gran c! lol.. i'm at 50k , not really had any problems yet, this is a solid vehicle .i guess i'm a jeep man now.
I love my 19 altitude as well! People are stupid lol, everyone thinks they’re an expert but most are full of crap.
what about rubbing during compression, bumps, off road etc
I haven't had rubbing since I fixed this. Even during some pretty extreme off-roading.

Love the tires it fills up the wheel well, I have 2018 summit stock wheels after warranty. I will change my tires. Thanks for showing the level bar sensor idea to shorten it!
So this is not an issue when driving off road (strength integrity?) or when on highway speeds and the computer puts you in the “aero” mode?
I haven't had any issues. I've done some pretty aggressive off road trails. Aero mode kicks in on the hwy and no rubbing. Only time it gets close is in park mode and I turned that off.

I’m about to start my 2014 grand Cherokee build and I’m looking at wheels that will be the same -12 offset.. is there any issues with splashing or extra dirt with the wheels being out from the fender a bit?
Not really. Maybe a little more. You can get fender flares. I tried a set but they didn't fit correctly and haven't tried another set.

Wow.. 285 work with your air lift suspension ? No rubbing ?
No rubbing as long as I had it in offroad 1. But I adjusted the length of the front suspension rods so that my jeep was a little higher in the front and is more level. See my second video. Cheers :)

I can't remember the exact cost but close to 3k for tires, rims sensors and installed.
