Run ins and MIB cash ins, only work in Normal matches, not custom ones. 😅 I noticed that aswell. Or if I do manually rivalries, it turns the custom matches into Normal matches.

Since auto-booking is based on the divisions and match tables, I normally leave the title defenses for the main PLEs, while minor rivalries and storylines for the minor PLEs. And mainly "in division" rivalries and matches, similar to how's done in UFC minor PPVs, where they don't have title matches, but fighters going up and down rankings, building up for the major PPVs.

You can do like the Soccer leagues with promotions and relegations. Using Raw and Smackdown as major shows or only one of them and use Nxt as the b or c show and by the end of the season promote the best of NXT to the major shows, while relegating the worst ranked in each division to NXT, acts similar to a Draft.

superstar mode is basically unplayable. It is so dang glitchy and limited it is a wonder why the mode exists at all; the only benefit you really get out of it is to try to get a rpg like experience of following 1 character; track that 1 character's progression and you get a win/lose tracker. That is it. And it comes at the cost of basically everything else. You can't customize your own teams, you can't form your own rivalries, you lose all but a handful of rivalry actions and cannot control the opponent's actions at all (making it impossible to even imagine crafting a story).

Also when I was watching the video I seen you said the gameplay is just to easy, and you want it to be more challenging, I would suggest you use hyperballer sliders in universe mode as i used it last year and it gave me some challenges against the AI. Does any of this apply to 2K24 universe mode or will you be making a new video for the new game?

Do you turn off rivalries or just leave them at automatic if you like the old school type of universe

I recreated raw from 2004. I did the match between Shawn Michaels and benoit at middle of the show with triple h interfering at the end. This 2k23 universe mode is so stupid that they didn't include run in set up. I had to make triple h the manager of benoit just so I can attack michaels and make it look like the real thing. I was ejected by the referee 😂 Missing the universe from svr 2011 to wwe 2k14 , at least it had a smarter universe mode than what 2k had created😂.

How I worked the auto-booking, was mainly fixing the divisions, how I wanted, who's main-eventers and midcarders, then tweak the show, how many matches and type of matches. And the booking is tied with the divisions ranking, similar to MMA promotions like UFC and One. I mainly use Sim AI vs AI, then watch the show and PPV, as I watch the real deal. I mainly use my weekly shows as a build up/momentum for the PPV. Similar how they do in NJPW and Stardom, they use the house/smaller shows to build up to big monthly PPV. Basically, I create the rivalries around the booking for the PPV and then play the weekly shows around those rivalries. If those superstars are in factions, makes it easier to auto-book filler weekly show matches until the PPV. 3:56 those sometimes occur to me, aswell. In those cases, I simply edit the match, turn in, a backstage brawl, tag match or change their opponent, if Gunther is facing Big E in the PPV, make Gunther fight Xavier Woods or Kofi, instead of Big E or make Big E face other Imperium guy, etc...

I usually like to create my own Promotions and mix around the superstars of the biggest promotions, like WWE, AEW, TNA, NJPW, TJPW and Stardom. Then create interesting, type of Forbidden door booking, between the superstars of the different promotions. Like Drew McIntyre vs Will Oespray, or Giulia vs Becky Lynch, Roman Reigns vs main eventers of other promotions, etc....

What's "Manager Superstar Frequency" I'm guessing it's tied to Superstar mode seeing how it's greyed out

Hey man, hope you see this. Rivalry outcomes in ppv are broken. The loser leaves town, injuries etc dont work and the rivalry never ends until you end it yourself. Is there a fix to it?

Super late comment but just trying this game out now and did the superstar mode with my caw. Before I started I intentionally placed my caw last in the rankings for the heavyweight title on Raw i believe i was in #15th place or something like that, while in sandbox mode. Then i switched back to superstar and booted it up. My first match was set to be against Roman Reigns lol. I couldnt believe it, so I’m hoping your video helps make this experience better.

There is so many "I wish this worked" things. I am one of those people with all custom shows, full amount of CAWS, overall personalized, etc. It would be actually really easy if rankings worked as for some reason actual ingame superstars like Drew or Seth Rollins they won't allow you to edit ranking. Championship for match table doesn't work preventing automatic TV title. Managers don't work as they'll be on random sides. Tag teams don't work as they just go with random people. Allies and rivals don't work as it will just make forever rivalries. Curation menu doesn't work so often you just have to constantly switch from superstar to universe and back. CAWS don't work as it takes forever to remove them from a universe if you want to delete them. I could go on and on, but if they did work it would make anyone be able to have any universe they want
