We sings this with our consertory choir. Wish us luck 😂. (Btw its so fast)
Very nice
THEY TRY DEAD

This song took FOREVER TO LEARN
This fills me with anxiety and excitement because it's beautiful but oh wow how do you breathe
S t a g g e r b r e a t h e
you dont
It's the best rendition I can find on youtube! Great sound of piano, and balanced voices
skrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa a
You guys think it's hard, while the alto 2s in my choir have to sing the bass part (me) ;-;
Good luck breathing 😂😂
Josh Humphreys its simple, you dont.
We sung this for our New Bishop .A very beautiful Hymnn
Beautiful - voices are so clear.
Wonderful
yes - agreed with the comment just below - and this is an excellent performance of this piece - extremely mature in regards to musicality and the understanding of how an audience perceives a piece from start to finish on first hearing. Really great effort and work here - imho.
My high schools madricals are doing this is really cool
beautiful and inspiring
So amazing! Rape replay! :)))
wonderful voices , thanks
too quick
I have been singing in Slovak choirs for about 20 years and I am so proud about this author. I knew him personally - I was honoured to sing in competitions, where he was also a judge. A fair man, genius as an author, but so modest and nice. And well, I am very happy that his work is also known abroad. Look for more his works if you are interested in - you will not regret. And, congratulation! This was one of the best versions of Rytmus I have ever heard. I think we were never able to finish it under 1:42 :-)
Hi! I am currently doing a project relating to Slovak composers of the 20th century. I would like to talk to you and pick your brain about Hrusovsky and any other Slovak composers you think I should be looking at. Please send me a message.
Considering the acoustics of the theater, probably not the easiest place to sing. With that in mind, they did an excellent job of making the best of it!
And it will be for the rest of your life. Forever.
the first two weeks i had to learn this song, I HATED IT but now... its always stuck in my head
I know right? The tenors make all the major tension...such a waste....
My choir sang this in Carnegie Hall back in October 2012. It's so hard you people don't even know....
Patrick Proctor hehe I kinda know, and I'm a alto trying to sing the bass part
Patrick Proctor there's only 4 words tho
I sang this in 2008
Learning this now at my highschool, sorprano 1 part
I do. I'm tenor 1
AMAZING!
i can barely hear the tenors
it could have been slightly slower, and I could have used more tenor at the straight F section. Other than that hot damn.
Lovely, well-balanced sound. Thank you for sharing!
Arranged by Jeffrey Howard
Wow!! :D
God help the Soprano ones... Singing this piece this spring!!! :D
Amazing.
ave eva fonsomoris turgina venutatis
Really bad vowels
WHO IS HERE FOR QUARTZ MOUNTAIN OSAI?!
if only I could speak Latin so this wouldn't be so hard to learn. XD fantastic performance. :)
Trust me, it isn't the Latin that makes it difficult.... It's the complex timing, melodies and rhythms of the various voice parts that does... Hardest song I've ever learned in my time as a choral nerd.
The Welsh nail it!!!!
going to take this and john the revelator by moses hogan to state contest on the 23rd. wish us luck. second soprano represent(:
@helentheswimstar Bring the thunder!
we're fucked...
@chrisisfromcanada haha that's also why I'm here.... yeah. ._.
