Chased Rainier Rail today, and got better footage of 5119. The locals don't seem to like Rainier Rail's increasingly frequent trains. The engineer gave me some ear plugs, but in the final shot I forgot to wear them! I will next time!

Rainier Rail's other high-hood GP38-2 has gotten a repaint, and it's quite a bit more elaborate than 5082's. I didn't get the best angles in this one, and the weather was not great, so I plan to get a higher quality video of 5119 as soon as I can.

After several weeks of trying, I was finally able to get video of Tacoma Rail's Hill Job! It's been a mission of mine for a couple months now to film this, since Rainier Rail will be taking over the whole Mountain Division in April. Time's ticking on the Hill Job if anybody out there wants to film it, you should try sooner rather than later!

Nice crossing and that's a really fast safetran bell! But that's the fastest intermodal train I've ever seen in the background!

This crossing got replaced with new Lindsay and Siemens signals.

If you're talking about the Tacoma Rail run to Frederickson, that stopped back in May. The future of the line from Frederickson to Tacoma is currently uncertain.

Rainier actually has a second high-hood dash 2, number 5119 I believe. She just got repainted in the company's new paint scheme and it looks pretty sharp.

I heard on Monday, Rainier Rail went past Alder street between 6-7AM
Yeppers, I helped get the 2074 and 2094 ready for interchange, I moved them over to the UP interchange before they left. Good to see units that sat for 10 years being put to good use.
