Best Commercial Ever
Oh that's where it come from Family Guy is a genius
So as a Brit just how mean was mean Joe Greene ?
Did you see its revival at the Simpsons?
who's here from family guy
teacher lore goes crazy (he shot this ad)
My dad used to fart real loud just after Mean Joe said "Hey, Kid ..." I swear every time this commercial came on.
How did a kid get in the locker room of the NFL anyway?
I will forever love this ad. I remember the episoce of Newhart when they did a funny parody of this.
I just tried watching this commercial without cracking a smile and I couldn't do it. That's how good it is.
The Frasier episode "Some Assembly Required" brought me here. Niles gives a talk to a bunch of fourth graders on food safety and at the end, one of the kids comes up to Niles and thanks him, admiringly. As Niles is walking away he turns and throws the kid one of his pocket squares, saying, "Hey kid, catch!"
Great commercial, back when coke wasn't run by racist anti white assholes
If that kid was at a Pirates game and offered up his Coke, the player would have said, "You got the wrong Coke, kid!"
That's back when football was fun... They played for the game, in stadiums that were big hay barns compared to today's Mega giant crazy big venues... It was fun back then... Thanks kid, thanks mean Joe...
Good commercial
Despues hay uno de maradona
What a great commercial.. The 70's were so gritty and real.
It's been 45 years and this Commercial still gets to me! RIP Grandma...1979.
2024: still one of the all-time great commercials. Mean Joe Greene was quite the guy, and a wonderful football player.
The years this was played was when commercials were decent. Today’s commercials are pretty dumb. IMO.
I always LOVED this TV Ad.
Family Guy made me look up this commercial lol
Disney’s Miracle(2004) brought me here
He came off the field injured and as soon as he drinks the kid's coke, he's healed.....🤣
My motherʻs favorite team was the Steelers and her favorite Steeler was Joe Green. She LOVED this commercial; it always makes me think of her.
Was it Family Guy who parodied this by making him throw a jockstrap
I love how this commercial is parodied in tv shows and movies
ARGENTINIAN DIEGO MARADONA 1980 & BRAZILIAN ARTHUR A. COIMBRA a.k.a ZICO 1981. MAKES COCA-COLA ADV IN SOUTH AMERICA TOO REPRESENTATING THE SOCCER FOOTBALL!
This was filmed at Memorial Field in Mount Vernon, New York.
0:54 "Wow! Thanks Mean Joe." This kid's voice has been seared in my memory for 50 plus years. Iconic.
And the boy was not only happy, he was overwhelmed! His idol gave him his jersey. 👍
And my head for 27 years lol 96’ baby
I saw a G. I've seen it all. Dope describes my rhymes, making all you emcees cold drop like dimes. You know MCSC is back again, and battling me on the microphone is like committing a sin. Scott the Prophet/MCSC the Prophet
Seems to me like the idea for this commercial was based very closely on a true story. Good commercial.... I get why they thought it would be a good idea.... apparently, they're still friends with each other to this day.... so that's cool.... it wasn't just a paycheck for them and 2 minutes of fame for the kid (now an adult) ....
i heard he didnt get to keep the jersry that really sucks at least he got paid real well so that should have comensate for not gettimg the jersey.
The producer wanted the jersey. Go figure
A versão brasileira foi com o Zico.
Anyone here from the dead pool reference no one understands?
Need this to be remade with Josh Allen
he’s not mean at all
This my power armor
He chugs a full bottle of coke and not a single burp.
Great smile.
If that woulda been Michael Jackson the kid woulda been molested for sure!
@Martin-iv6lq FYE: Michael Jackson was the emotional equivalent of a 10 year old; and that is why he liked children...easier to relate with. He couldn't even achieve an erection; and never touched a kids junk...so, just how did he molest them? Simplistically, he never grew, emotionally...just like you didn't grow, mentally. Between Michael Jackson's talent, and stage-presence - vs - Your rants from the ignorant...I'll take Michael, any day!
Cringey and nasty 😂
Just like you!
It's like a preview of what the 80s were going to be like
Sponsored by Coca-Cola death squads.
Iconic didn't know it then
This year's Super Bowl was just played last night (2/11/2024). Not one of the commercials aired will ever be remembered and still give people "the feels" the way this brilliant ad did...and still does.
The coke bottle was as big as that kid
Mean Joe Green!!!!!!😂🤣
this sucks hyena ass lmao Boomers and their nostalgia for ads
Better than gen z queers trying to cancel everything
This commercial made me smile. I remember this commercial the very first time it aired. One of my fav of all times. Great memories... Thank you so much ...
