I adore the combination of these impressive patriotic war recordings of the American-Vietnamese War with the warlike rock and roll struggle of the Rolling Stones and Mick Jagger; not entirely atypical, not as heroic perhaps but an equally deathly and scavenger resourceful struggle for survival, reprisal, honor, and perhaps a modicum of vengeance. My close friend Peter Reitan's dad Ron Reitan a friend of ours who has sent supportive messages to me since my 'socio-political' engagement fought in Vietnam, was awarded substantively, took a couple bullets, and shared much I won't share. I studied 'the Vietnam War and Film' under Professor Richard Miller at Southern Oregon University; He served in Vietnam as an officer and received a bullet wound. It was a fascinating course blending political, social, military, and cinematic history to achieve a great enlightenment; though there was an unnecessary amount of busy work I trudged through(I had a lady friend at the time.)
