Holy Crap Batman! Airwheel SE3S Motorized Suitcase Unboxing and Review!
Holy cow! This scooter suitcase thing is AMAZING! I hate walking through airports where you know you're going to get assigned a gate that is in BFE! Before last week, I had never even heard of a motorized suitcase or luggage that you just sit on and it takes you on a wild ride! This puppy is unbelievable! While a little spendy, I think in time this guy will pay itself off. (See link below)
This is an Airwheel SE3S Smart Rideable Suitcase. It is "Smart" because it has an app where you can control the suitcase FROM YOUR PHONE! (Although no it doesn’t follow you, which I actually think is better).
I have successfully taken this on a Delta and KLM flight from the US to Netherlands and then Sweden. Then it came all the way back just fine all through TSA and onto the planes (just need to disconnect the battery).
It basically just worked right out of the box! I put the battery in, extended out the handle bars and I sat down and off I went! You can grab it off Amazon at the link below (make sure to click on the coupon if it's available!)
amzn.to/49IK4Kw
Features:
- Rechargeable (and detachable) lithium ion dry celled battery.
- TSA custom combo lock (has a special lock that TSA can use to unlock if needed). The zippers on the suitcase itself lock into the mechanism with a 3 digit combo you can customize.
- Weighs about 20lbs (9kg)
- Top speed is around 8mph (13km/h)
- Power Bank capacity - 73.26wh
- Size - 21.6"x14.2"x9.4" (550*360*240mm)
- Load Capacity - 243 lbs (110kg)
FAQ
Q: Can you get this through airport security?
A: You should be able to just fine although you can run into someone that may not realize the battery detaches and you can put it in your backpack/purse. It is a power bank and it is CLEARLY labeled as such.
Q: Will airlines allow this on their aircraft?
A: Most if not all should, but that again depends on the employees that might be misinformed (unless their policy's explicitly forbids motorized suitcases). Again the battery detaches and the battery goes into your personal item.
Q: Can I check this bag?
A: Probably not. It is meant to be a carry on item and.....you want this to go with you to your gate. If you checked it, you'd miss out on all the fun!

I've been trying to find a new computer, with some hits and some misses. FINALLY, I found one that works great, performs well, and doesn't slap my wallet around! This is the one I'm keeping! I picked up this guy from Geekbuying and it took about 10 days or so to get to me. The shipping provider they use has very vague messages, so I just stopped trusting it after a while. Those games might be legal in China, but in your country, it might not be legal to have those roms preloaded on th...

Hello, how much can you pack in the luggage? Is it enough room to pack a weeks worth of clothes?
Probably not is my guess. A week is the cut off. Unfortunately there really isn’t that much room. If you brought a backpack as a carry on you probably could get a week between the two
I used the device very successfully for about 9 months. One day the computer only started in the BIOS. Supporters wanted me to send the device in. But I didn't want to do that with the sensitive data on the hard drive. In the end I bought a new device and am considering opening the old device and seeing if I can still save the data.
Bummer, sorry to hear that! What was the second computer you bought?
@@can-you-handle-this It's an Acemagic S1 Windows 11 is currently on it. But as soon as I have time, it will be Linux Mint
I’ve been running a Beelink SER5 for nearly a year about 8-9 hours a day and it’s been great so far! I hope your ace magic does the trick! Oh and I do Linux mint as well 😊
PLEASE NOTE THIS AIRWHEEL RIDE ON LUGGAGE SE3S. IS BANNED BY JET 2 AIRLINE AND ALL UK AIRLINES.
Thank you for posting this video. Does it fit an 18-inch laptop (15.71 x 0.91 x 11.57 inches). I don't think the small compartment does, but what about the main one?
Sorry won’t fit that. I just measured it and it’s about 10.5” on the inside 😟
@@can-you-handle-this Oh, man! Oh, well. Thank you for taking a moment to measure it. I appreciate it.
Bought the NAB5 last week for my mother, but it came with a GaN power supply. The one shown here is huge! Guess they changed it somewhere down the line.
Good to know…. 😊
How much weight can it take? Like the luggage itself is around 8kg I think, but if you put your stuff in and sit on it to ride? Is the total weight limit 110kg?
Yeah that number sounds right. It will still work at 111kg but it just won’t go as fast, battery wont last as long etc
@@can-you-handle-this Got it, thank you✌🏼
Great review???? Like actually really great??? Even down to the description, very detailed. it's hard out there to find good informative vids so thank god for yours!!!
Glad you enjoyed it! I still use this as my daily computer. Works awesome!
can the motor be removed? And does the app work while offline?
No the motor can't be easily removed....I'm sure with enough leverage you could. As for the app, it shouldn't need to be online since it connects via bluetooth (as far as I'm aware)
@@can-you-handle-this Ok, thanks for the response!

this is a fun scooter, i bought one during my trip to Asia, so much cheaper there... paid $500 total for the same unit + 1 extra battery just in case :)
Hey big thanks for your video. I was looking for an example of how to disassemble this unit properly.
You’re welcome!
Hi thanks for making this video! I just ordered mine from airwheel and can’t wait to put it to use next time i travel! I am wondering how the battery lasts for you? I see they sell extra batteries but they are quite expensive. Do you think that the battery lasts okay for normal trips and then recharge at the hotel/destination? Thanks again, great video 😊
So I just took this on a trip across the country. Used it at the airport I started at, and finished at. Then went to my hotel, forgot to charge it. Then road it around the office a bit cause co-workers were curious. Then I rode it at the airport, and then at the destination airport, and then my kid rode it for a while when I got home, all on a single charge! Btw, the looks you get with this thing are amazing! And I even had people take my picture and one guy wanted to take a video for his granddaughter. Totally hilarious!
Thanks for that! oh wowww that is great battery life!! hahaha I bet :) looks so fun. Glad to come across your review and the channel @@can-you-handle-this
What motherboard did you say?
This is the manufacturer of the motherboards. azw-online.com/
(1) Is it Windows Pro or Home? (2) For USB-C DisplayPort, do you need special kind of usbC-to-HDMI cable or anything? (3) Some of such mini PCs have complaint of having pre-installed chrome etc. (making consumers suspect what else they may have installed), was it? (4) What was that little glitch that you experienced with the display? (5) What max speed you get on WiFi (your service provider's claim -vs- actual you got on this device)? Your video is probably the only genuine looking review I could find for this exact PC, most seem to be paid or sponsored ad-like reviews :) Thanks.
Let's see what I can answer (cause I don't have it anymore) 1) I'm honestly unsure, that wasn't something I peeked at when I was messing with it. I'm pretty sure it was Pro though. 2) You can get a USB-C type Dock, or what I currently have on another setup is a USB-C to HDMI cable. Those are pretty cheap. 3) This one didn't feel like it had a bunch of pre-installed garbage bloatware on it. That being said, I always use Brave as my Chromium browser anyways. 4) I think the glitch was a bad cable I had if I recall correctly.... 5) Speed on wifi, didn't measure this, but I have fiber 500 Mbit up and down and I've never had issues with wifi on any of the Mini PC's I was messing with. I do have a setup though where I am hard wired in because Wifi 2.4 and 5 Ghz can't efficiently run the full bandwidth my ISP provides.
I walk with a cane and usually get the airport wheelchairs to wheel me to the gate and into the plane. At JFK they have 1 attendant for every 5 passengers so it's an awful experience. This would be awesome. Are you sure you can take this into the airplane?
We just flew on delta from the USA to Sweden and it made it on the plane no issue. You can disconnect the battery and it is clearly labeled with a “POWERBANK” label on it. When we were in Amsterdam it came in handy cause that airport is sooo massive!!!
@@can-you-handle-thisThanks! I'm a bit shy too I know I'll feel a bit awkward riding around on a suitcase. lol. I really hope this solves my airport walking problem which is the worst part of travel for me. One more question. Can the luggage follow you or your phone? It would be a nice feature.
@@GizmoMaltese So you totally look ridiculous while riding it, but most of the time people look at you with jealousy more than anything! The suitcase does have an app, but I haven't seen any kind of feature where it follows you. Honestly I wouldn't like that feature because electronics disconnect all the time. What if it disconnected and you didn't realize it? You'd then have to backtrack to go find your suitcase and what if it was put in lost and found? Or just plain stolen? So that feature to me isn't that important. The ability to ride on a suitcase like a cowboy (or cowgirl) makes it totally worth it!

Nice video only 1 question can this do 144hz at 1080p
I’m actually not sure on that one. Don’t have this mini pc anymore to confirm. Might be able to google a bit on the motherboard and chipset to see if you can find an answer
I have one but not too sure on the different Hz it will support. Currently I have it running 1440p @ 120hz on my 65" tv. Working great. (using HDMI fyi)
mine runs 165hz at 1080 on fortnite at 150 fps and valorant at 1080p at 200fps
Ok i have 2 questions... 1. Did you get the diaplay to work on the front? 2. Is there anyway to upgrade the integrated graphics card? (I have the s5 5800h with 32/1tb but struggles even on games that dont take very much to run... most games average around 20-35 fps and thats after turning down in game graphics)
Yup I had all 3 displays working including the front. And sadly no you can’t upgrade the integrated graphics card.
it's an APU which means the CPU & GPU are on the same chip, so no upgrading this box other then the standard Hard Drive, RAM and wifi/bt card.
The best option you have for upgrading the graphics is to get a adtlink m.2 adapter :) I will be doing this eventually.
Good video. Thanks for the info and breakdown. Just one suggestion, lower the background music a little bit next time. Made it hard to hear you at some parts
Hello sir, urgent query! Can you run 4 monitors? 2 on hdmi and 2 on usb-c hub?
Not that I’ve been able to do. You might be able to run a fourth if you buy a usb a adapter
@@can-you-handle-this I mean to ask, the way you demoed the usb-c hub. It ran 2 displays on one usb-c. Both hdmi direct ports were vacant. Can those ports be used too for a total of 4 displays
@@can-you-handle-this especially as the 5800h processor specs list 3 display support. So does the hub giving 2 displays count as 2 displays for the processor or does it register it as one since you used one usb-c port?
@@ThinkSleepLeave I’ve never tested it out but that’s why you have to use a usb a port to bypass the limit in theory. I’ve only been able to hook up 3 but never tried the 4th but I’ve heard others do it with a usb a based video adapter
I just bought the lower power Beelink version of this with the 5560U as I wanted really low power consumption (going to solar) and ordered it on special on amazon for just $245 (for 16GB 1TB version). Can't wait to get it. Looks like you've been having some fun with it, could you maybe make a followup video with your experiences after using it for a few months ?
Awesome!
I have a SER5 PRO w/32GB RAM. I added a 1TB HDD along with 2 USB Expansion Hubs. I use the hubs because I use a wireless keyboard and mouse. I also set it up dual monitors.
Hello sir. Thank you for this video. But can I request for you. Can you upload a video how to install a HDD to ser5 max
I would show ya if I had a ser5 max. Maybe one of them at beelink can send me one to review??? 🤞🤞🤞
Is there space for a 2nd ssd or sata drive?
I think so. From reading other amazon reviews, it looks like there is. I don't have this unit anymore as I returned it in favor of the Beelink SER5 in another one of my videos.
is the fan loud?
Honestly no. You can hear it and if your doing something cpu intense you can hear it for sure. I had a kamrui and that fan was much louder than this guy.
@@can-you-handle-this Bet, I bought one to make it into a mini nas with just 12TB
I wonder why they removed the outer cover of the NvMe drive. I believe it is there to dissipate some heat.

Well, when I learn how to do that, I totally will 😅
Oh, if you don't know how that's fine!
Copy of Beelink SER5 Pro
Basically, but beelink has had close to zero issues even now as I’m using it as my daily driver!
what brand is the 2.5gb lans? intel or Realtek?
Honestly….. no idea! I don’t have the computer with me anymore to check!
Thank you so much for this video! I bought this PC as an upgrade from my first ever PC. When buying it, one of the allures of it for me was the fact that it was "easy to upgrade" according to comments and manufacturer. I really want to delve into the hardware of computers and learn more about it, so this was an easy choice for me... Unfortunately, I couldn't quite figure out how to open the PC and I didn't want to damage the internal hardware... so thank you much for making this video and showing me how, along with other avid learners, to do it exactly - as it was very useful!
Glad it helped you out!
Thank You. A great help to me in installing my Linux NVME, swapping out the installed NVME.
borrows from RAM ? I wonder if you are talking about swap memory, if thats the case then thats mapped to the harddrive.
No it’s not swap cause that’s what I thought too! It’s a real thing I promise! windowsreport.com/fix-less-ram-than-installed/
@@can-you-handle-this Oh Ok, understood. the system RAM vs application RAM. That's fair point. thanks
What's this small monitor on the right side ?
So it's actually this guy I got a couple months ago. It can be powered by just the USB-C cable alone and works great! You can also hook it up to your Nintendo Switch (and have it charge your switch if you hook the monitor up to another USB-C cable to a power adapter. amzn.to/45iykvx
@@can-you-handle-this Did you need to change any settings in the mini pc to make the USB-C work with the portable monitor?
@@shitakesan nope, didn’t need to change any settings. There is some weird behavior sometimes with some usb c hubs. Another mini pic I tried worked and then didn’t work and then suddenly started working again. Maybe unplug everything and then leave it for 30 seconds and then plug it back in???
Just got mine in the mail! Good to see a great video of taking the machine apart.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed mine!
Thanks for making this video. I just purchased from Amazon and it arrives tomorrow. I was beginning to question my decision between this one and the Intel NUC until I saw your video.
Can you explain how you got the 3 display to work, what adapter you had to use for the display port to work
I had to use a monitor with a DisplayPort plug and I had a DP->DP plug. I’m sure you can get it to work with a good DP->HDMI Cable or something for your monitor.
did this come with linux mint on it or did you install it?
I installed it myself. Super easy to do
It’s making me setup with an work or school Microsoft account ? What if I don’t have one ? Please help
It should give you two options. Either Personal or Work/School. You probably clicked Work/School, so go back and click personal.

how do you hear volume? do you need to add a speaker. I tried to put headphones but I didn't hear anything.
Interestingly enough I tried that just a couple days ago and the same thing happened! Luckily the monitor on my hdmi has speakers so I can play sound out of the monitor! I am running Linux though so that could be a contributor. Haven’t tried it on windows.
Does the USB-C port support power delivery in addiition to displayport out?
Yeah it does. I have a small monitor that I just use the USB C port for display and it powers the monitor.
@@can-you-handle-this very cool. have you tried running two monitors (and power in) from just one USB-C cable?
@@coastcoaster Yeah you can see in the video at about 7:36 I showcase that.
@@can-you-handle-thissorry maybe I wasn't clear. Can you power the PC itself via the USB-C port and omit the barrel DC charger entirely? (Separate, I think, from whether the PC can send power to a small external monitor).
@@coastcoaster Ahh no, not in that case. The power supply is a little brick that comes with it, it's not built in so the USB C couldn't power it.
