This is GARBAGE! Toyota has a bad EV plan & doesn't lobby governments to insist on more EVs? And that's a bad thing!?!?! EVs polute less while be driven, but their building process is worse & the mining required for batteries is horrific, and the lifespan of batteries is relatively short & the batteries cannot be effectively recycled. Furthermore, 60% of energy generation comes from burning fossil fuels so even most EVs (especially in non southern climates) are still operating on fossil fuels (just not within the vehicles). The performance of electric vehicles is amazing. The development of EVpowertrains must continue, but governments need to get out of the way, not involve themselves deeper.
