    Love the induction but continually having issues with the oven temp. Please tell me if I'm doing something wrong. I have a Frigidaire Gallery 30'' Front Control Induction Range with Air Fry. When I have the oven preheated, and if baking I decide to change the temperature, the thermometer will show a temperature far lower than the set, preheated amount. For instance, I preheat the oven for 350. I can watch the thermometer climb until it hits 350, and the beep goes off and light goes out indicating it reached temp. I'll start my bake, and then if I change the temp to 400, the thermometer then shows the temperature down to 220, and climbs very very slowly to 400 from there. I have had many dishes spoil because of this. This can’t be normal. Help please.

    Great Video! But somehow I can't understand the difference between two of these modes. I get the timer one, wont use it as you have to manually reset it all the time. But one of the other options is you turn it on, select say 50% and just let it go. It will then turn the fan back on and off by itself throughout the day IF it exceeds the 50% humidity goal in the room? Or you have to constantly check it to turn it back on? I don't want to have to constantly watch it to restart it manually. Then there is the CO Continuous Mode. But do you also set a goal of 50% for Continous mode as well? Or you can't set a target at that CO mode and it just runs 24/hr a day. I guess I don't understand this mode either, couldn't it suck out way too much moisture? I'm sorry for being confused about these two options and how they actually operate. I personally don't want to run it when the room is at 50% already. .. And we are not gonna use the tank, we will have a drain hose, so not sure how CO mode works with that either as a full tank would never shut it down. I would appreciate if you could further explain which option would be best for me.

    How to clean water filter

    • @Frigidaire
      @Frigidaire Před 9 dny

      Good day! Cleaning the filter may vary based on your model. Under the Agitator (if applicable): Some top-load washers have a filter under the agitator, which is the central post in the drum that moves your clothes during the wash. You may need to remove the agitator to access it. Inside the Drum: If your washer doesn’t have an agitator, the filter might be inside the drum along the drum walls. Behind the Machine Panel: Some models have the filter located behind a panel that you might need to unscrew. Once you've located the filter, remove it by either unscrewing it or pulling it out (depending on the design). Rinse the filter under hot water to remove debris and detergent buildup. Scrub (if necessary): Use a soft brush, like a toothbrush, to scrub off any stubborn residue or lint. We recommend visiting as well your owners manual.

    does a lower setting mean more water pulled from air

    • @Frigidaire
      @Frigidaire Před 9 dny

      Hi! Actually, the lower setting on a dehumidifier does not mean more water is pulled from the air-it refers to the target humidity level. Here’s how it works: Lower Humidity Setting (e.g., 30-40%): The dehumidifier will work harder to reach and maintain that lower level of humidity. Since the air contains more moisture, it will extract more water to reach the target. Higher Humidity Setting (e.g., 60-70%): The dehumidifier will remove less water because it won’t need to run as long to achieve the higher humidity level. In summary, alower setting means the dehumidifier will extract more moisture from the air to reach a lower humidity level, but it also depends on the current moisture in the air.

    How do I use gas for the oven?

    • @Frigidaire
      @Frigidaire Před 20 dny

      To use a gas oven, follow these steps: Check the Oven : Ensure that your gas supply is turned on and the oven is connected to it. Also, check that the pilot light (if your oven has one) is lit. Turn the Oven On: Manual Ignition (Older Models): Open the oven door and locate the pilot light at the bottom of the oven. Turn the oven's temperature knob to the desired setting. Use a match or lighter to ignite the pilot light. Electronic Ignition (Modern Models): Simply turn the temperature knob to your desired heat setting. The igniter will click and automatically light the gas. Preheat the Oven : Allow the oven to preheat to the selected temperature, typically indicated by an oven indicator light going off or an alert sound when it reaches the set temperature. Place Food Inside : Once preheated, place your food in the oven and set a timer based on your recipe. Monitor the Oven : Keep an eye on your food and check it periodically, as gas ovens can sometimes heat unevenly. Turn Off the Oven : After cooking, turn the oven temperature knob back to the "Off" position.

    Yes, the cooktop ONLY works with a induction-compatible pan on one of the burners. If you are cooking and take the pot off, it shuts off. Nothing on the stove? Heat controls won't work. In my manual it is on page 11 (RTFM). It says : *** Pan Sensing When the cooktop is on, the cooking zones automatically detect when cookware is placed on the zone. The control for that zone will light up, making it easy to know which section of the control to use for that cooking zone.

    • @Frigidaire
      @Frigidaire Před 22 dny

      Good day! Turn Off and Unplug the Unit: Always ensure the unit is turned off and unplugged before you start working on it. Locate the drainage plug or port, usually found near the bottom of the unit. Check the drain hose and drain port for any blockages or clogs. Clean them out if needed. Make sure the exhaust hose is properly connected and vented outside, with no kinks or obstructions. If your area has high humidity or the AC generates a lot of condensate, consider connecting a continuous drainage hose to direct water to a drain or container. After performing these checks and fixes, plug the unit back in and run it. Monitor the area to ensure that no more water is leaking.

    • @Frigidaire
      @Frigidaire Před 29 dny

      Hi there! A water filter and a water dispenser are often connected because the filter ensures that the water dispensed is clean and free from impurities. Regularly replacing the water filter is important for the proper functioning of the water dispenser. A clogged or outdated filter can reduce water flow, compromise water quality, or even damage the dispenser over time.

    • @Frigidaire
      @Frigidaire Před 29 dny

      Hello! It's not typical for a Wi-Fi symbol to remain on after you’ve turned off your portable air conditioner, but it can happen in certain models. Some portable AC units remain in a low-power standby mode even after being turned off. The Wi-Fi feature may stay active to allow remote control via a smartphone app or smart home system. We recommend visiting your owner's manual.

      Good day! Solving the malfunction code is as simple as removing and cleaning the filter on your unit, or unplugging the unit for a few minutes and plugging it back in. The malfunction code F0 means your dehumidifier is low on refrigerant, typically caused by a leak in the enclosed refrigerant system.

    • @Frigidaire
      @Frigidaire Před měsícem

      Hi there! Some helpful tips that can alleviate most cleaning matters are to ensure that the incoming water is 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Ensuring that the incoming water is correct, loading your dishwasher properly, and using a rinse aid can assist with your dishes being cleaned properly. We recommend filling the rinse aid dispenser, as this is a part of the drying cycle design. Using the het-dry method will produce better results. If they prefer the air dry, be sure the rinse aid is full and the water coming into the unit is at least 120 degrees.

    Can you load this with the lid up and water running? All my top loaders in the past did this

    • @Frigidaire
      @Frigidaire Před měsícem

      Good day! In most top-load washers, the lid needs to be closed for the machine to start the washing cycle, including filling with water. However, some older models or certain specific settings may allow you to fill the tub with water while the lid is open. If you're trying to add water before adding clothes, you might be able to start the water fill process, pause it, add your laundry, and then resume. Some newer machines, especially those with locking lids, may not allow this and might stop the cycle if the lid is opened. This may vary depending on your model.

    My 79 qt dehumidifier, keeps running, goes from hi to low. While I was out, and came home it had overflowed onto my hard wood floor. What can I do?

    • @Frigidaire
      @Frigidaire Před měsícem

      Hi! It sounds like your dehumidifier may have an issue with its automatic shut-off feature or a full-tank indicator that isn't functioning properly. Ensure the water tank is properly seated in the unit. If it's slightly misaligned, the machine might not detect that the tank is full. If your dehumidifier has sensors that detect when the tank is full, they might be dirty or malfunctioning. Carefully clean any sensors or floats with a soft cloth. If you're using a continuous drain hose, make sure it's not kinked or blocked and that it's properly attached.

    This washing machine was disappointing. You cannot manually change the water level so you have to rely on an automatic sensor to determine the desired water level. The sensor is flawed. Towels don’t weigh much when dry, so the sensor assumes you have a light load. My work around is to either add water myself , or let the washer fill then turn off the power and reset the cycle thus doubling the water. My new luxury apartment complex spent $1M on these appliances. I hope there have been improvements since this model.

      @Frigidaire Před měsícem

      Good day! If your front load washer is not sufficiently filling with water, here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue: Ensure that the water supply valves (both hot and cold) are fully open. Check if there are any kinks or bends in the water hoses that could be restricting water flow. Ensure that the water pressure in your home is sufficient. Low water pressure can prevent the washer from filling properly. Make sure the washer is not set to a cycle that uses very little water (such as some eco-friendly or quick wash cycles).

      Good day! If the cooktop is locked but the oven isn't, it might be due to different control mechanisms for each. Here are a few steps to unlock the cooktop. Look for a lock icon or a button that might indicate the cooktop lock. Some models have a specific button or combination of buttons to unlock them. You may refer to the owner's manual as well.

      @Frigidaire Před měsícem

      Good day! There are a few reasons why your dishwasher won't drain. The most common source of clogs comes from a blockage in the dishwasher's filter. Or, you may have an issue with your dishwasher's air gap, drain valve, drain hose, or even your garbage disposal, causing your dishwasher to clog.
