You have to cater to the limit of the speaker. If you go beyond the speaker limit you will definitely get dostortion. Also keep mind these speakers are a 1000 watts total power which is not continuous power. The manufacturers are not always clear on their loudspeakers when it comes to continuous power vs total power. Always do the R research for better understanding. I once had a pair of the ZLX loudspeakers. I kept my speaker in covers especially when traveling. The covers help reduce the scratch, and of course wear and tear.

Had the CDJ-700’s and there was a loose connection when using CUE so it changed track and toggled reverse on/off 😂 Better to just buy pioneer

had a pair in 2019, brand new out of the box, everything you said was spot on.

1st you bought an entry speaker with lesser components that keeps the price down. EV makes great speakers, but this series is just an introduction to that fact, they sell these to people who don't know what "better" is. Every manufacture has them (JBL eon, QSC cp, mackie thump, etc) 2nd you got from guitar center they dont care what they sell ya, they will offer this series, Jbl Eon or their own harbinger junk to unaware customers, maybe profit margin is higher for entry speakers. They should've advised you against this series. Mostly the people that get these are entry level themselves or just do small gigs or karaoke. The 15"s have the same weak components. Yes ETX is a great deal better.

I got the sdj 4000, I fucking hate it so far, crashes, does not load up stuff from v-case, v-case itself is a nightmare, cannot analyse well and I cant correct the fuck ups it has, so I cant use a hell of a lot of songs, it has no sound sometimes and like an old pc, I turn it off and on and it works, I does NOT play well with virtual dj, despite the hype, I cant get the crossfader to actually fade.....I am in dj hell at the mo and the help is shit so far.

I find it does not anywise bpm well and I cant find how to help it, anything with double speed or funky more complex style, playing half beat etc seems to be beyond v-case, is there anything else to use with gemini sdj 4000?

Have you ever seen the size of the woofer's magnet? It's embarrassing. I have 100w RMS speakers with bigger magnets. So... when you say 1000w...peak or even 250w RMS you must be joking... or better yet, EV must be joking with us.

Chauvet 355's programmed well are a great fitting. The advice a lot of people are trying to tell you is that (1) it appears running the dmx cable was a waste of time as the lights are not in any kind of synchronized show..... not even remotely close to it! (2) If you are not going to program them with a dmx controller you can use them in totem pole mode to keep all of the lights forward of the DJ booth or on one side of the lighting bar.... (preferably on the side of the room that dance floor is on at a real gig! ) (3) It would also be a good idea to learn how to edit the crappy parts out of your video PRIOR to posting it for the world to see. In Germany you have to use safety ropes on ALL type of fixtures. They even have to be officially tested. Furthermore you can't put moving lights on tripods. You have to use at least four-legged stands
