Not sure where this is from. It was downloaded on CZcams on December 12, 2006. I can't find the original so I'm reuploading it. It seems to be a commercial or bumper for a Chicago religious show or channel.

I bought this at a Big Lots circa 1996. It's a collection of horror movie clips strung together with various themes and a cheesy keyboard plugging away during it. I've always had a soft spot for it and like watching it at least every Halloween.

This is a tv edit of Home Alone. Most of the edits are uninteresting, but this one always gets me to chuckle since he clearly says ass.
Dumb, the feel, jokes, timing, , disjointedness, original music, 60's kiltch is all but missing. Basically a dud. Robert at 69.

@@bobmalack481 I was a kid when the Addams family first aired . Their competition at that time was the Munsters. I liked this adaptation of it. Now as far as being a dud, comedy is comedy and I know it when I see it. What's not your cup of tea doesn't mean it's not someone else's.

You really have to imagine the rest of the room to get the true experience. You and your idiot friends are sitting together and playing the game, you're doing all the movie lines and bits when the guys on screen bait you to and telling your own jokes in the meantime. And the guys are actually taunting you as you play. It was surreal, it was as close to getting inside the movie world as one could get at the time, and may even be the best game form of the movie, period. It's not about the simple mechanics of game play, it's everything else around it, and even with a set tape, every game would be different because you all do and say different things, and even develop running gags over time. If you're just watching this tape in the modern day, you're only getting maybe 1/4 of the real experience.

I wish The Addams Family was real. I would feel more welcomed by The Addams Family than in my own family household.
What even is this? Hmmm why are their other people pretending to be a horrible version of what As already been perfected by John, Carolyn, and the original cast. It's extremely awkward to watch the couple try to emulate Carolyn and Johns chemistry. 👀
It looks cheap, not only because of the flat lightning and the color, but because it is filmed on videotape.
Don't forget that this movie was also released back in 1977 which was 46 years ago.
@@SmokeyMcb I grew up with the _old_ black and white series, and that didn't look cheap at all, and still doesn't. They used 36-mm film and lit the sets with the same skill as if it were a "real" movie. Videotape is always disastrous for the look, and it took me years to understand that videotape was the reason why European TV series always looked like shit, while TV series from the US for the most part looked very good.
@@Stroheim333 To be honest the movie playing up above would look better in Black and White instead of the movie being in color. Is there a way to turn off the color and make the movie above be in Black and White?

Adult Wednesday played by Lisa Loring is beautiful just like the new adult Wednesday, and both went to school away from home!
For that original spooky feel just turn down the color level all the way . Wala easy fix. Watched this when it first aired and did that then when it was just a knob on the tv. Same with the Munsters that were done in color. Not that it isn't nice to see these in color . But the ambiance is so much better in black & white. ❤

Thanks for posting this. I do not remember seeing this on TV when it was first run. I am a big fan of the original show and it was nice to see they were able to get many of the original actors to play their old parts. The new movies were ok but just did not measure up to the old TV show.

If you watch this on a tv, change the settings to black and white monochrome. Just like the show back in the 60's! You'll thank me later ;)
I am used to seeing it in black and white but it does look cool , But I really like the opening song better in black and white but I love the adams family 😮
My favorite are the ones with Christina Ricci as Wednesday....that's the originals.
