Escape From Pompeii Boat Ride at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg. I didn't dress this one up - this was my second ever theme park ride, so I felt it should be preserved. Thank you Jeff Tiedemann for helping me relive the memory.

My first time at Bush Gardens was in July 1998. Just after they closed it. I remember it being up for a few years after.

Drachen fire was torn down for two reasons One people were getting hurt and it was so jerky and the breaks slamed to the point ware you banged your head in the back seat (my mom and i road this ride the last day it was open) and the noise was terrible people from kingsmill would complain because of the noise going of the lift and the break. It was fun ride and would been able to stay up if they would of fix the problem

this ride is awesome i would go on anything and im 11 not and i went on the ride when i was 9! this ride wqas amazing i realy enjoyed it i wanted to go on the rip ride rocket but it was just being built :( any questions just ask

fire is faster, ice has more flips and stuff...and ice is soo much fun coz some parts, u feel like ull fall off....and i went on ice and they didnt put my seatbelt on and decided to start the ride....i was like screaming like hell...scariest moment of my life but ride was good...but gets annoying that they always have to close these rollercoasters down like every 2 rides coz its sooo messed up lol

@Razgriez1 I haven't been back to Busch Gardens Williamsburg since August 6, 2008. I went when it was called "Busch Gardens Europe". It would be a sad sight to see... I've only ridden roller coasters since May 10, 2007 and already some of my favorites have been torn down... Twisted Twins at SFKK and Big Bad Wolf come to mind.

now Kings Dominion has the Dominator and Intimator 305 and Scooby doo's Ghoster coaster is simpily called Ghoster Coaster in Planet Snoopy Kings Dominion rocks!
