I play it along with Embers Adrift and WoW and have just done a mansplaining video of it on my channel. I give it 8/10. Will provide feedback on your concerns in a minute mate. - I agree that casuals should not spend a cent and avoid the early access servers. - I played Lineage2 before it became PTW and drop rates were the same as here. - Lineage 2 crafting was important, as it is here. - T&L fishing is awesome. - Map hit to left mouse, map Parry to right mouse, map the main menu to a mouse button on the side of your mouse. **The Singapore etc regions can play now (they recently changed this) My 2 issues with the game: - On the KR, Singapore etc servers there is currently no English voice acting, this is a huge turnoff as it was very important in Open Beta. - You need to map a key to swap weapon for your default attacks (I use X), I would like the option to swap default weapon automatically based on the last skill you used. eg use your bow, use default bow attacks, use a melee attack, default weapon automatically swaps to the melee weapon. Hence 8/10. I'll continue to play on the Elowen Singapore server until the Amazon release and will level my Guild "One and All". Anyone here is welcome to apply to it.

I will wait the official release for this game but the economic model is questionnable. You pay 40 dol for an alpha and then you have to pay a subscription ? What is the point ? ESO is awful game when the did level scaling its to overwhelming and its feels to outdated. Good latest ES game released was Skyrim from 2011. ESO its the worst Elder scrolls game.

This isn't meant to be personal critique, but you said like months ago you didn't like tab target combat and wanted the game to be action combat and if I remember solely on that you where disinterested. So of course you don't like the combat even with it's improvements. No amount of changes they could make to a tab target system would make you enjoy it. So I guess I don't see a point in covering it as a topic/point of criticism. I'd value the opinion/critique of someone who likes tab target combat much more. I feel like this is just bandwagon hating on a game when the devs seem to be actually trying to fix the game and likely having to fight suites trying to ruin it with a bottom line. Just my opinion.

Just try nontarget combat you will feel the difference))) Why I love NCsoft is because they do awesome combat system just search and watch Blade and Soul pvp arena (their best game with the best non-target combat system in any mmorpgs ever done yet still) NCsoft do extremely good combat system focused on pvp and amazing mechanics with evasions and resistance in real time which means you have to use skills to move your character to do real evade or resist instead of just having these effects while you don't move and just press your mouse on target and click skills. Nope you have to feel it, feel the combat, like you are really trying to evade all attacks by moving your character with skills. I'm telling you just watch blade and soul gameplay pvp or pve and then try non-target combat system in this new Throne and Liberty and you will get it

I rememberd when I leveled up in NW, my friend just had to give me enough gold. to buy off the items that the board quests asked because it was faster. what an amazing way off leveling that was , just staying in trade post till max level lol

on a serious note, one MAJOR selling point is the crossplay. Looking for a game for my gf and her sister to play (sister is on xbox but we both game on pc) is pretty rare to find anything we would all even moderately enjoy lol.

Us regular people arent mad at the combat at all because DE. Doesn’t emphasize on combat they focus on world and mission systems and thats what people are hyped on, taking warframe and its infinite content concept and putting it in a fantasy pseudo mmo. Half the people dogging it are souls players that are cynical about every game that isnt dark souls lmfao and dont even have their envoy registered or even played the preludes. The combat looks good and tamed, people are so used to elden ring and its quasi turn based combat system that they think not playing wack a mole with a npc makes the combat bad. Soulframes combat imo feels the most realistic out of any game except for honor cause your not using huge hammers with outrageous hit boxes. Your using weapons that a real human would use and sequencing attacks the way a real person would, only thing i can say needs work is the npcs they feel almost not as active as they should be. I signed up for my envoy got preludes access and have seen people play pre tennocon preludes and it looks amazing the build they showcased in the devstream was weird and totally not what i experienced and saw others play. The jumping had motion matching the animation transitions had fluid transitions and accurate hitboxes. Even steve sinclair said everyone is cynical asf and this game is not made for your Asmongold type of viewers who cry about every little thing. Not to mention the game being free. This is kin to dragons dogma and assasins creed more than it is Elden ring or whatever souls game. Its a casual pseudo mmo with coop

Let's be honest. The best thing about TnL is that no other decent MMORPG has been released for a long time or is going to be released in the near future so many players overlook all the obvious issues the game has just to play something new, it might die in few months or become very niche game with low pop. I wish the game becomes successful but at the same time, if that happens, be prepared that NCSoft will introduce more P2W. They are probably holding off with introducing more P2W now when the game is not in a good state.

The combat is one of the best I have seen in mmorpg and people that not admit it are on denial. I love the game and I can’t wait to play it.
