Fuel filter change on 2018 Silverado Duramax
does the guy ever clean the mower . What does the gas and air filter look like and does it have a fuel pump and notice that deck was still engaged Fuel pump looked disgustingly dirty
cappy dirty foreign gas blame it on democrats . new oil filter , new air filter , new gas filter , new fuel pump and new choke throttle and it had 48 hours on it and now again 79 hours i am sick of fixing this cub cadet 22 hp V twin
What kind of redneck hillbilly instructions are these ?? Goodness.
It's just a MTD with yellow paint
They all are now
Orange spark is weak, you always want it to be blue.Defective coils getting hot and laying out.
Excellent diagnosis
In the beginning of the video when you were letting it down the motor was running when you hit the down button. after you put the new pump and control cable on it worked properly and when you hit the down button the motor didn't run. I think that the old cable was wired up wrong after you shortened it!
That’s definitely a possibility.
59:58 is when it gets good
Do you have the product part number?

Well. There’s always next time. LOL
man that looks good
nice
Hello again and I hope you are doing well. Just checking back in to your channel to inquire about possible making a video on how to grade gravel on a dirt road on the mountains and also how to use the same grader to make rainwater runoffs. That would be very helpful as I need to do some of that work myself with my MF 255 tractor. I appreciate it!!!
first
good job, however you got the gate hindges wrong, the top hindge goes down and the bottom hindge goes up,that keeps somebody to lifting up the gate up and getting into your yard.
You are a great mechanic and very conscientious. I have a similar problem on my Cub Cadet Enduro X2, I will try replacing the filter first. I see you trimmed the skinny nozzle on both ends of the filter, which I never did before. Thank you for all you do!
It is a coil issue
I thought so too but it ended up being the gas tank had debris in it clogging the fuel supply.
I had a clogged fuel cap vent causing problems. Poked a hole through it and that fixed it.
I thought that’s what was wrong with this one at one point
Those paper fuel filters can be a problem. Fine metal screen ones are the way to go.
Oh yeah no doubt. They are far superior
This is what you get when Cub Cadet is just a name.
nice lawn mower
You know whose it is
@@ProductiveLiving20 same
Hey Patrick,I wish i would have saw this when you made it. I have the same mower and i had the same problem.
Oh. Do you think it’s a common problem?
I guess i was wrong. Mine did did the same thing. It ran for a short time and sputtered and died. If you push the throttle all the way up its like a choke, but you have to push it back down after it starts.
Oh I see. Yeah this gas tank had debris in it causing it to run too lean. It took me longer than maybe it should have but I did figure it out. 😂
IM exhausted after watching that! haha. You have a gift my friend.
Oh no.!!! Well. Maybe now you can take a break and recover.
My Dear, You have the patience of Job & are Totally Amazing!!! Well Done!!! 👍💯♥️
Thank you
Thank you for the vid. Very helpful 👏
oo ok
I have replaced my filter quite a few times. This last time, the small O-ring got a little pinched and I thought it wasn't letting the filter sit correctly in the housing causing my % usage to not reset. I was about to pull the filter out again, get smelly and oily, and reset the O-ring. Once I watched your video, turning the truck off then back on and Wala...the reset went back to 100%. You helped indeed, sir!
Great video I’m working on a 1967 C20 step side longbed. It has a 292 inline 6 They are solid trucks. Thinking of having it Dustless blasted. Thanks for sharing from Arizona.
That’s awesome. They are solid for sure
what happened to productive Homestead???
I changed the name to productive living
@@ProductiveLiving20 yeah but why? productive Homestead was better
I explained it in the video of me building that cross
Hey how is it going, just checking in again. With two concerns this time, I hope you can help me. The first one is how much transmission fluid to add? The hydraulics weren’t moving so I added a quart if fluid and started moving buy I wonder if I need to add more. And the second is how much air do the front and rear tires take? Thank you
There’s a dipstick for the transmission on the passenger’s side of the tractor by the seat in the floor to measure the fluid level. On Tire pressure I would just sit it up until it’s not buckled probably 15-20 psi.
Really appreciated this upload. It was relaxing without any background background music, for I was able to hear you speaking clearly. The Cross finished out great. Also, liked the new pair of boots to boot. :) The name change is very fitting as well. You have come a long way. Keep on keeping on. So very proud of You!!! ~ 👍✝️🙏♥️ ~
Thank you
As a fellow septic system owner I want to say thanks for your video and showing the use of those infiltrators. That was a big job and you're pretty darn handy with that track hoe. Hope it lasts you many decades.
This was very helpful. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
My originalhead unit only has the red wire harness plugged in is there a different way I should wire it up
lol. Yeah there was a thing about that I believe it’s in the video. It’s been too long for me to remember off the top of my head but there was an issue with power
Thank you so much for this video!
Hello I am back asking advise on my MF255. Well the tractor starts and everything seems to be working fine except the steering stopped working and the wheels wont turn but the steering wheel spins freely in both direction, So I took of the small plate that is on the steering wheel and there is a big nut there and everything spins the steering and the hex hut but there is not turning to the wheels. What is going on? Do you know? Thank you, I appreciate your insight.
Well it sounds like the hydraulic pump for steering has an issue. That’s the way mine was before I rebuilt it. The system may just need to be purged of air or it may have a larger issue. I would start with cracking the lines on the pump and turning the steering wheel to see if fluid is moving.
Ok, what lines do I need to crack and purge? I see there are several lines that connect to the side of the pump and also to be able to have access to those lines is not easy. How can I check the oil levels on that hydraulic pump? Thank you so much! @@ProductiveLiving20
@Raffuentes030999 ah yes you have to take the grill covers off of the front of the tractor and there are two lines going in and out of that pump. That’s where I would crack them.
Should I crack all of them at the same time or two and two in and out. But I don't know which one is which? It is a very strange and unfortunate problem, and I don't know why it is happening, other than the tractor being parked for about 5 years I guess. @@ProductiveLiving20
@Raffuentes030999 I have a video on the power steering issue.
Have you had any problems with using nails to secure the lattice to the framing? I’ve seen people do it both ways, but splintering and cracking always seems to be a concern. Would you secure the lattice to the framing the same way if you had to do it all over again? Thanks and nice job
Yes I believe I would use roofing nails again. Staples may be better but I like the roofing nail and I’ve had no issues to report since.
Would you happen to know what brand that fuel tank is
Well. No. It isn’t named and I bought it from an oilfield company. If there was a placard it’s long since disappeared.
This channel has everything, love it
Thanks for posting video. Very helpful. Be blessed in all you do.
Oh thank you!
Fantastic video! I am also wondering how do you jack up a wheel in case you need to repair a tire? I am wondering how to safely do that? Thank you
I actually made a video where I had a tire company come out and change a tire czcams.com/video/0ApokxlCMhA/video.htmlsi=AZ7pcnkf4MFyIZaX
I would add make sure to use chalks on the tires
How has it held up in the last 2 years?
Well I will just say it hasn’t “lattice” down
No it’s actually held up really well. The benefit of it being plastic and on the north side of the house I’ve had no failures except where my dogs worked over one corner.
Nice man
Hey great video! I have the same exact tractor and I am learning how to operate the front end loader. Last time I was playing and moving the control box it didnt do anything I wonder what I am missing to turn on so it works? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
You know that’s a tough one but you might check to see if you have fluid in the system. Or the valve in the control box may be bad. Not really sure but I would start with bleeding the lines
Works better if you use the hydraulics to tip the back brackets. Then the front becomes the rest on the ground and just back out from under it. Unhook the hoses and your done.
Agreed. Engine didn’t run to operate hydraulics
That looks great!!
Thank you!!!
